I hated working at my location, small city, stereotypical small city crap. I disliked my toxic coworkers so much...majority of them don't deserve to have that job of getting paid $18.50 per hour. But I deserved it because I put in the work and a lot of people don't deserve this job because they move slow and take time. I put in so much value that others just barely worked at all. I came back from the military to work at the same location again and I worked for a week or 2 and had to quit the toxic crap. I hope they burn in "H e 🏒🏒"!!!. Because I am back at being homeless again!.

I liked it but hated it, the reason why is because most people that worked overnight are slow and mainly females. So me and a few others have to do all the hard labor work. I hated it because of a small city, stereotypical small city is real but that includes even big cities but mainly small cities. Cause trouble, hatred, jealousy, etc. over something that is not much of a huge issue about. I'm sire you can agree on that as a Overnight Stocker, we are supposed to move and get things done fast. So I move fast and these idiot coworkers believing and b*tching about me that I think that I am better than them. Pets and chemicals but mainly pets is the toughest one where I am at. They tried to get rid of me last year and acted as if I was a horrible worker when the reality is my coach and other's relied on me and a few people to get things done and the others are just lazy useless pathetic brats that don't deserve to have a job. I was homeless before and doing my best to survive when I was living the hotel. I eventually had to quit and became homeless and went to the military but got out a few months because I didn't like the military branch and came back at the same Wal-Mart and I only worked for a week or 2 and quit, because of some of these stupid coworkers and new coworkers tried to gain up on me by getting rid of me, I had to leave the toxic crap. And back to being homeless again. I hate it so much, I deserve that $18.50 per hour pay and alot of people don't. I just did my job and stayed out of trouble, didn't bother anyone.

@@garouuchiha4041 u let those people get to u bro and made u lose ur job. If u ina situation where ur homeless u should know to just let people say what they want cause ur job is not a want but a need. U should’ve been working and saving money fam but instead u were working and worried about other peoples opinions. Who cares about what someone has to say u knew ur situation bro. I hope everything goes well and u find another job. Put money to the side every paycheck if u know how it feels to be homeless u should be saving Ass much money as u can. Personally, I just pull the pallet to the middle of the aisle and walk back and forth. The time spent walking back, i'm breaking down the cardboard and putting it on the cart. I like to keep my aisle clean as possible with minimum obstacles on the floor. There isn't really a wrong method, unless of course the person is failing to reach time limits constantly. So whatever works best for each person seems good enough. Your advice about the work environment and communicating and helping others is spot on. I finish early quite often and get sent to another aisle to help someone else and I have no issue with it. My coworkers usually apologize for me being sent to them but I see no issue with it. I'm paid by the hour, not the aisle. I do what is asked of me, don't complain, and leave. I've had no negative feedback or coaching. Plus, if I do have a day where i'm a little behind, the people being sent to me are going to be less resentful and actually want to help me finish and lessen my burden because I do it just as often for them. While we do a lot of working alone, there is still a lot of team effort involved, so it's best to communicate, be helpful, respectful, and reliable. While it may seem like nothing, staying those extra 9 minutes to help a coworker bin overstock so he or she can leave on time doesn't go unnoticed. We have great team leads where I work which I understand can make or break someone's experience at Walmart. The only people that really get fired is either due to points from days missed or because they are negative minded and can't work well with others, and if you're like that, they are going to make your job as miserable as possible until you're terminated or quit. So it's basically keep a positive outlook and do what is asked, or you're not going to be employed there very long. The longer you work there, the more often you're rewarded with easier tasks like top steal which can eat up an hour of your time before the shift ends.

Call them. If they don't answer, keep trying. If that doesn't work, go to Wal-Mart directly and ask for the manager and tell them you want to be hired. If the manager is not there, ask when they will be there and then show up for when they are available. I called a few times and I was able to get hired. You can too 🙂👍 . if the Wal-Mart you apply to doesn't have any hiring openings, then ask another Wal-Mart building. One Wal-Mart might not be hiring, but another building might be. Good luck, you got this 🙂👍.

I work for Safeway as a Master of None (Jackass of All Trades) and I've done Night Crew for my store. Our manager has us face the aisles before we stock it. It's dumb and only store Safeway and Albertsons our area that does it that way. But it's 1-2 people that break down the load and 1-2 that face the grocery aisles. Then we will spot the load and then throw. I'm just trying to turn off that perfection when throwing and wanting to tear into it that I've done off and on.

What the hell does block mean on the phrase stock and block
@vicerichter1163
@vicerichter1163 3 ай бұрын
it means to stock and then "condition and face" the product. The label must be facing towards you. Which is the "front" of the item. Conditioned means either to turn it so it is "faced" or to front it so that it is flush with the shelf. I.E, a standard stock controller/team lead will say the item must cover the holes of the shelf. But a really good stock controller or manager will want you to have the item to the edge completely flush. for A+rating "zoning and conditioning" of the aisle.

Stock and block and pull riser the first 2 sections in that order not only that look with your eyes not your head if you can't find the item just skip it and find it later like example it's like skipping a test question but coming back to it later when you "find" out the answer or in this case find where the items goes also don't beat yourself up by not finding it if your new it take 3 month to know the layout of the store and then you will be faster knowing were some of the product go just try to simplify it so you can remember the general area helps out

Big mess in the isle, you should be breaking down boxes as you go. How could anyone possibly make it to anything they need ??

You don’t break down the super strong boxes of jugs. They’re a waste of time. You break down boxes as you go but those boxes get stacked on a pallet and taken somewhere by a pallet truck. I think we sell them back to the company.

Look at the title of the video. Overnight stocking, they are most likely closed.

How do regular grocery stores work in terms of inventory? For us, we have a Front of House (FOH) and a Back of House (BOH). Let's say 24 units come in, and 12 fit in the lane (1 home). We then destock 12 units to a BOH bin, like D.100.RACK10.C01. On the handheld device, we have a replenishment tool that guides us in the store on where to go and restock the items. I assume for you guys, you guys get exactly what they need for the most part, and if any overstock is left, they just put it on pallets and general storage carts. The overstock will get stocked throughout the day. Is that correct?

The most part yes but we put our overstock on the riser we pull rise stock block then whatever can't be stock on the riser and repeat
