I lived there for a short while about 15 years ago. Late sunrise and early sunset cos of the steep hills, very expensive properties mostly without any gardens and over-crowded roads during the rush hour and at weekends (too many Porsche Macans). But it is an incredibly quirky place to visit and I always enjoy going to see the place.

We really enjoyed our day there. I don’t know if we’d want to live there, but it was very quirky. We did clock the price of properties in the local estate agents 😱. The duck race was hilarious and it did seem to be a place with a great community spirit. We didn’t even think about the sunrise and sunset, but it does make sense as it is in a ‘bowl’ - cheers for watching and sharing your memories with us. 🍻

I loved the duck race! It's these sorts of quirky events that make a day out. Will's pasta had my mouth watering, pasta with 2 of my favourite Greek food items Haloumi and olives. I'd never heard of Hebden Bridge either but it's now on the list when visiting Yorkshire.

We've heard of this place and have seen many pictures of the canal on social media. Didn't realise it had all those shops, it looks like a nice ace to visit. It's not far from Halifax which we've been to a few times and the buildings are mainly brown like they are in this video. I think it's only 8 miles from Hebden. Thanks for showing us around 👍

Oh man, this place is great. So much going on this Easter Day. The canal and all the geese, but my favorite the duck race. All the eateries and that market were awesome, but your Greek food had to be the best. That theater is a treasure. I used to run an old theater film projector. Fun memories. You guys are hilarious. Rach and Wills this was an incredible day out from start to finish and really enjoyed your video! What a lovely town, definitely one of the best in the UK (not sure about Europe). We gained a lot of subs when a video blew up the other week. It is like a 2nd job, I just try to not let it build up. Loved your tour on Hebden Bridge, Rachel and Wills. I don't know if I would call it the greatest town in Europe but I certainly wouldn't dispute it! It's gorgeous. We love seeing the the stone buildings and the bridge. Just a lovely town! Mary is a legend! At one time you went to school and got a degree or certificate to run the projector. It paid well! But wait. We had to freeze the video and look up the "Thomas Crapper!" Didn't see how that was going to work? After exhaustive research (we googled it) we found it was the gentleman's name (bet he had fun in school) and he sold all kinds of plumbing fixtures in the late 1800's. There's money in the kind of Crap! Just a beautiful tour of a gorgeous town. Even with your crappy ducks it was still a fun day! You donated to charity too. We know that had you won you would have just donated that back too! Thanks so much for bringing us along.

Ah thanks both. It was one of those surprising days when we went somewhere we hadn’t planned to because of the weather and it turned out to be a little belter! What a beautiful town. We absolutely loved it. Meeting Mary was amazing and the duck race was a bonus! The town has such a community feel to it and people seem so proud of where they live - and why not! Hello Rachel and Wills.This is a really nicley structured video showcasing some of the town's quaint little shops , atmosphere and charming street views along with funny and interesting narration. I haven't been to Europe yet , so I can't say if it's "Europe's greatest town," or not. I will say though, that Hebden Bridge is now high on my list of places to visit in the UK someday. The mother goose nesting in the flower planter was really sweet , as was Mary at the theatre. I also liked the build up to the duck race and got a good chuckle from your commentary. That was a great ' by chance ' happening to have ended up in Hebden Bridge.We too like to find new places by chance when we go out and about in Japan. You certainly went there on a perfect day, the weather was perfect, the market was on and the place was absolutely bustling. Cant beat a good record selection for Wills! Some classics in that vintage shop! The blossoms looked lovely. Love the uniformity across the town of the brick work, that really helps sell a place to me. Great Christmas purchase! 🦆 i wonder what the actual ducks make of all the proceedings! That is a lot of plastic ducks, bad luck with that one! Wow, great spot of Ed Sheeran, he was very ignorant though! Great final decision to visit, probably not Europes best town but a very affluent English town with lots going for it! Great joke, gets two quacks from us! 👍

This second time trying to comment,first wevideo has music and im like cool free music,then when i put it out turns out its copyright claim,then everytime i put a video up,they put 3 of the same up.sorry waffleing. we both loved this,we would go when its not so packed,but what a stunning place,and we love ducks.loved the picture house,we have one the same i watched star wars there,they still trying to close this,love the lovely old lady that used to work there.i love lps white xmas lol.£20 a lp.we would go feb march time or october,love the goose with the nest.loved the ladybird books have loads.love plastic ducks never ever seen anything like this duck race.lol ed.Loved this guys and have a lovely weekend when it comes debs xx.
