All Hebrew Gospels are dismissed as translations from the Greek. Let us not be so easily deceived. Your Bible has gone through as least four translation stages. First was Hebrew, then Greek, then Latin, and finally English. That does not invalidate the Word. It should simply guide us in seeking the original message of Yeshua the Messiah. The Hebrew Gospels of Catalonia were translated into Catalan to preserve them as all Hebrew manuscripts and the persons holding them were burnt during the Spanish Inquisition. Later, it was recopied back into Hebrew for the resurging Messianic Church of the Middle Ages in Spain. Why would that invalidate The Hebrew Gospels anymore than your Bible being dismissed because it has a Greek and Latin gloss over the original Hebrew text? It doesn't invalidate the Word. Those of us who believe in The Hebrew Gospels should not commit suicide to our cause by declaring all Hebrew texts to be a translation from the Greek. This allows Greek primacists to continue dismissing The Hebrew Gospels as they have for the past two millennia. We must use our knowledge to search out the original words of the Messiah - which were in Hebrew.

Jesus Christ spoke Hebrew, Aramaic and Greek.... all this does not matter....Mathew was the only one written in Hebrew....Jesus Quoted from the Septuagint as Greek was the language of his time....all being said it does not matter they all point to and the meanings are all the same

Even studying an English-from-Greek translated version you can tell Matthew was written early (at a time when the Second Coming was expected in the first generation of Believers. He filled it with "witnesses" of Yeshua of Nazareth, the Branch's Messiahship that Hebrew readers / hearers would recognize immediately. Mark also came during that early time (it is almost like a removing of the Hebraic "witnesses" for Gentile readers / hearers).

The Son of Yehovah God is BIG enough to answer to His Name in English: Jesus Christ, in Hebrew: Yeshua or any any language. Never despise the name of Jesus Christ as there is power in the Name and many have cast out devils and healed the sick and believed on God for salvation in the Name of Jesus Christ. Deliverance is a Miracle Ministry. If you attribute a Miracle to the work of Satan that is textbook Blasphemy of the Holy Ghost fopr which there is no forgiveness..so do not make the mistake of attacking the Name of Jesus Christ. No problem using Hebrew or English.

Or do you mean the millions of Mexicans named Jesus as well, because there are no children born in Israel by the name of Jesus that word has no meaning in the original tongue. The Messenger of Almighty God Who stands in the presence of Yehovah Almighty: Gabriel spoke to His parents and told them both to “Name him Yeshua because yoshia” (“SAVIOR because He will SAVE”) I’m not saying the Almighty doesn’t work miracles for the ignorant because he does look on the heart of the individual indeed indeed. I’m just saying once you know the truth the truth will set you free, if you have ears to hear but if you know the truth but ignore it and you teach others to go a different path from the truth who knows what could happen to you?

The Bible is an Ancient Near Eastern text, which was written millennia ago within a time and culture that is vastly different from our own. The authors of the Bible had a perspective on life and the world around them that was steeped with their own Ancient traditions, customs and thoughts. When reading and studying this text we cannot interject our own cultural perspectives into the text, to do so would bring about interpretations and conclusions that are far removed from its Original intended meaning. But if we read the Bible from the Proper perspective of those who wrote it and study their language (Hebrew) philosophy and culture from within its original context, the Bible will spring to life in ways you never thought possible. Furthermore, The Bible is a Hebrew book. It was written exclusively by Hebrew Speaking people living in the Mediterranean countries. It was written about the Hebrew God (Genesis 12) and the Hebrew/Jewish Messiah Yeshua and it was written within the context of Torah-keeping Hebrew/Jewish culture. Modern, Mainstream Sun day church Christianity, as a man-made religion, is far removed from all of this. It is a completely different religion from what The Bible teaches. Modern Christianity does Not teach The Whole Bible. It teaches man made Sun Day church Christianity and uses The Bible, Largely totally out of context, to support beliefs not taught or believed by Anyone who ever followed the biblical Messiah Yeshua. It is what it is. If that upsets you, sorry, not sorry. The truth is the truth, and Truth offends. Aramaic was the spoken as was Greek, so are you sure that what is being called Hebrew is actually Aramaic (which is written with Hebrew letters)? If this is all true I would like to have an interlinear english copy.

Torah and religious studies would have ALL been in Hebrew. For all the Hebraisms in the Bible, they do not work in Aramaic.

Keep in mind, that the Hebrew Gospels of Catalonia (HGC) is not a direct translation from Hebrew but translated from the Catalonian language. There are words and phrases that are transliterated from Catalan to Hebrew because the translator couldn't translate it. A gentleman by the name of Harvey J Hames wrote an academic paper on the Hebrew Gospels of Catalonia and published them on Academia. Once a manuscript has been translated multiple times, as the HGC has been, it loses much of the core messages. Currently, the only Gospels that has promise is the Cochin MS Oo.1.32, MS Oo.1.16.2 Revelation. The Cochin Hebrew Matthew has strong Hebrew markers of the First Century that far exceeds the HGC. The compilation Revelation that is being promoted is "the most real and authentic Revelation to date" a translation mostly from the Freiburg HS-314 (translated form Greek to Hebrew), the MS Manchester Gaster 1616 (corrupted because the scribe included marginal notes and randomly changed words to match the Greek), the Hazon (sloan) which is also a translation from Greek to Hebrew, and the Paris 131 is also a translation from Greek to Hebrew, and the final manuscript is the Cochin Hebrew Revelation, which wasn't completed for the publication of his book and he used a "super computer" called Vaporware Spirit-Led Artificial Intelligence to translate the remaining 5-6 chapters.

This is a perfect example of someone declaring all Hebrew manuscripts to be from Greek, except for those she advocates. The manuscripts Janice Baca mentions do come from Cochin, I recovered them in 1n 2014, but they are misidentified. They are the Cambridge Ms. Oo.1.32 which contains the entire Hebrew N.T. except Revelation and the Cambridge Ms. Oo.1.16.2 which contains Revelation. Scholars such as Dr. Eli Lyzorkin of the Israel Institute for Biblical Studies and Dr. Nehemia Gordon of the Makor Foundation, have declared these manuscripts to come from the Greek. I take a more nuanced view. There will always be some Greek elements in any Hebrew manuscript. We search for the markers, things we know to have been changed in the Greek from the original Hebrew. The fact is, the Cambridge Cochin manuscripts do not contain more markers than other manuscripts. I did the final translation of the Cambridge Cochin manuscripts of Revelation (Ms. Oo.1.162 & Gaster 1616) up through chapter 12. All the contents of those manuscripts, along with other manuscripts, were carefully considered in the final compilation of the Hebrew Book of Revelation. All manuscripts have errors. One must review all the translations of these extant manuscripts to arrive at the best version of the original Hebrew words of the Messiah. The Cambridge manuscripts Oo.1.32 and Oo.1.16.2 are important but they are not the Holy Grail. There is a critical review of Harvey Hames work in chapter seven of my book Messianic Church Arising.
