The question "why" ...is like breathing. I wrote an essay about that. "Why" is important. Yes, it makes many things more difficult than they are, but in the end, once you know the answer, that`s like having a magic key for all following doors. And yes, there is a reason why the "i" is there. But I am not here to lecture you - I am here to learn from you, and therefor I will never try to undermine you in any way. Thanks for your time and effort and making the videos.

Is there a difference between alai and elai? I have seen song lyrics before where elai was used in a very similar way to alai. Thanks!

Great question! I have made a full video on that: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpeyh4iAgsiJnZo . Basically, על is "on" and אל is "to".

I have a question Rut, probably an obvious but nevermind. Can I use בשביל in the same manner as על depending on the sentence? Thank you
@HebrewVerbs4 жыл бұрын
Hello, thank you for writing. Nothing is obvious ever ;-) Those 2 words are not freely interchangeable. For example "thanks for" is תודה על and if you ask somebody if something is "for" you, then you use בשבילי and not עליי , that would mean "about".

I see nothing weired here. You have to choose if you want to "suffer" in class or in real life. 😁
