HEC RAS 6.6 Start to Finish Model and Wish List - Part 1: Project Setup

I was pleasantly surprised to see a new post on New Year’s Day. I spent the morning of New Year’s Day summarizing my attempts to create a 1D steady state HEC-RAS model involving divided flow. I’m working on a culvert replacement project where a massive flood tore out a road crossing leading to a new channel forming at a slightly lower elevation than the old channel. Temporary culverts were installed in the new channel. At low flows, all flow is routed through the new channel but with increasing stream stage flow splits and also is routed through the old culvert. The divided flow does not merge until several hundred meters downstream. There is a very limited description of how to model this divided flow situation in the HEC-RAS documentation and no KZbin videos on the subject. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated 😊

Some GIS & scripting programs do not like "space" in the folder or filenames so it's best to use "underscore" (_) instead of "space" to prevent unexpected errors in the future.

It’s good first i was having 6.6 version and followed the old videos for 5.4 version but no good results now having both versions and will follow both lets see whats the final result thanks
