HEC ResSim Support 1 - "Invalid Flow Calculation" Error

Hello, first of all, thank you. Today, I noticed in the release decision report that water is going equally to both the controlled outlet and the energy power plant over a period of two years. This is not a normal result. Where do you think the problem could be?

Hi. It sounds like you got the model to run, so that a step in the right direction. In the video (at 17:14) I mentioned the data on the Power Plant's outlet tab should include at least 2 rows of data (not just 1) -- and that data should include the entire possible range of elevation values. Currently there is only one row of data for an elevation of 1418.63 [ft]. Since the guide curve elevation is set to 1458 [ft], you should also add a record in the Controlled Outlet's data table to include the 1458 [ft] elevation (or higher), currently there are only 2 records, which are for 1440.28 [ft] and 1443.56 [ft]. Go ahead and make those changes to your ResSim model and see if the new results make sense.
