Not only do these people not know how to drink, they are capable of rendering a mug incredibly filthy just by drinking from it... or whatever it is that they're doing. Because seriously, drinking ale from a mug should not turn the mug pitch black =P

I wish I knew. I want to say they just did the VO themselves and just cut out the gaps/sped it up a bunch, since you can hear them breath in & out a few times, but that could also just be artifacts from the source data.

About the idea of character designs from YT's or whatever... I don't want to be too cynical but... that would require actually designing characters? I feel like I've seen most of these character designs and other assets in a ton of other games. This doesn't look up my alley either just because it looks too focused on coop. Like once things get busier it'll feel almost impossible to do solo. That's not my type of game. ALSO the merchant always calling you traveler even though he KNOWS you're the tavern owner who sprints out of the tavern to buy stuff every 2 hours... One thing that's REALLY annoyed me with Steam and just indie gaming in general is the massive rise in copy cat games. One game becomes really popular on YT or Twitch for a few days and suddenly the market is FLOODED with copy cat asset flips. That chained together game, that super market game, tavern games.
