Gus is the perfect anti hero. He had more honor than the producers of the drugs or even Saul. Kept his private life separate from his business life. A huge reason Mike is super pissed finding out Gus was killed by Walt
@oksomynameisjeff42123 жыл бұрын
And in the last few seconds of the scene, it shows that atleast in my opinion that Gus when cleaning the final scraps of leftovers and threw the paper perfectly in the trash bin, he was satisfied and smiled. In putting the right context, he may atleast know that there are people whom are innocent and may be using them as an alibi for witnessing that he's just a legitimate business man but when it comes to the right mind, seeing he maybe cared for the employees and said to them that they can go home now and Lyle being loyal is a sign for people that has actual respectable leader that actually cares for his workers. And knowing people will say this that he killed Victor and he's basically subtle when being ruthless to people whom are presumably his enemies if needed at the right times. Plus Victor maybe loyal but he was incompetent and Walt saying things to help him being alive but he has a point that people that have no right skills for the right job have no right to be in the job. He only shows ruthlessness to people that harm him and his workers and his business being a collateral damage if needed. Sorry if I messed up something in my theory that supports this fine lad here that Gus is a effective and respectable leader and an anti hero.

I think it's more his personality is based on extreme attention to detail, everything from the lab he built to the expectations of his employees to even his killings are calculated with precision. Even his language, he never wavers from his polite and precise vernacular, as that would be breaking the bus fring businessman character. Leaving the tables to employees would be to him, as if endangerig the whole drug operation.

He's squeamish or perfectionist or workahaolic or a combination of all three. He could not stand to see the unorganized, uncleaned plates. His deep psychological tendencies made him clean the clutter up.

It's in his best interest to keep low profile by being benevolent towards non cartel individuals.

@@YtubeUserr Yeah, he has OCD so it seems likely he needs to start cleaning up to help calm himself after a stressful encounter. OCD would be a good trait for someone running a criminal enterprise as you likely never leave loose ends and think through decisions and scenarios in great detail.

The shot at 0:12 with the Gold and Blue clock just perfectly encapsulates this scene.

Gus is honestly a master of disguise. Nobody would suspect such a nice person to be a drug lord.

Gus is just pure badass, cunning and calculating. One of the greatest characters in history and imo deserving of his own spinoff series.

BCS practically is his show. He has as much screen time as jimmy

i would also like a pre-prequel about gus but if it takes another 10 years giancarlo esposito at the end of that serie is gonna be a 75 years playing a 45 years old. and hector might be in a wheelchair for real

No more spin offs, it doesn't need to turn into The Walking Dead where everything is a spinoff from a spinoff where the time line and cannon is all messed up.

I love the cleanup at the end; Gus asserting control of his business, at least to himself, and the smile at the end, a subtle reminder to himself of the control and power he still has...

As an extremely organized person and needs everything to be in order, if someone disrespected you by shaving the bottom of his shoes on your desk, Gus must be furious but he managed to hold it and still talked politely

Why is every scene on BB/BCS so iconic. When you think they can't top themselves, it just gets better and better. Every character is a masterpiece worthy of their own spinoff. It's truly amazing. I'm gonna miss this so bad when Saul is over.
