It's a pity that there were no such films before like this one. I've torn ACL three times (twice at the left knee and once at the right knee) and it was terrible experience. Now I no longer play football because of feeling pain after prolonged exertion. Thank you very much for this film, Hector. Wish you good luck on the pitch. #COYG

Currently have knee injury (meniscus) unfortunately i don’t have the money to do surgery so i opted the natural way of healing. It’s really hard to watch my boys play football normally while i am outside. I haven’t played football since 6 months yet sometimes i feel some pain very frustrating not sure what is going on inside my knee. This documentary was really such inspiring and educational for me. I wish i could at least fix my problem and enjoy football like you are doing now Hector.

@@dailyzee2468 I remember jumping to head the ball & landing badly on my left leg I felt my knee shift, I didn't undergo any surgery, I just watched knee strengthening videos & gradually after a few months I was able to walk, the recovery process was mentally the hardest thing I went through, I still have concerns when I play on a shit pitch or against rough player but I love this game too much, sorry for my rant 😂👍

Brilliant Hector!! Not many people are able to acknowledge how difficult it is recovering and even going through serious injuries like this, physically and almost more importantly mentally, especially when your profession is dependent on your fitness and your ability to use your Feet. You know what Hector your intelligence and vision is incredible 👏🙌 Something I want to know is, how much did your surgeon cost. I injured my back jan 2020 and waited till October to have my scan. Dude I haven't even received the results! Within 3 weeks, youre injecting yourself reducing swelling, using arnica oil (big up Abuela!) etc with a timetable put on your recovery. While for me the nerves in my feet hurt worse than my back and I'm told to wait and not pay for physio incase I make it worse! To have such health professionals at your disposal truly is the biggest blessing of being a pro athlete. Big up Cugat and PDB

As a hardcore football lover and currently undergoing prehab for ACL surgery next week. I am feeling this so badly❤ I am not a professional footballer but I have done everything to play football! Be it buying boots from college pocketmoney and spending a month on nearly no food. Or anything. And now suffered ACL . I am not a pro athlete with world class physio facilities so I am so depressed peobably for not being able to return to field. Or maybe yes but now I am 30, by recovery, I will be 31 and who knows. I am so depressed right now. And feel the pain and agony of every athlete who would have gone through ligament repairs. Not because of the surgery, but because of the love of that sport! I feel you hector, I feel you all ❤❤❤ For the love of sport, for the love of football! ❤ Lets keep this sport alive till the humanity is there on earth! ❤ And my wishes for anyone who is going through this/any kind of injury/surgery!

Horrible injury, I injured mine when I was 21, had 4 botched operations including an ACL before a surgeon put my ACL right. From 2004-2015 my loose MCL was missed despite me saying to surgeons, I was told to leave one office as the surgeon said I couldnt afford his prices! Which I paid him in full...insulting. I was left stranded. Then 3 failed MCL operations I finally got it reconstructed in 2019...my playing days were long gone. 12 operations on one knee. 5 botched operations, 6 prolotherepy injections, 4 cortisone injections, endless xrays and scans, 3 years worth of of physio, thousands spent. Professional sports people have access to the best treatment but spare a though for the public who were once prolific sports people themselves who end up on the scrap heap and been treated like dirt. Who ever does this type of injury please do your research into rehab, accessible to you and the surgeon who you choose. Its painful watching someone do this injury and it's so nice to see when they come back, I wish you well....PLAY LONG AND PROSPER! Never take anything for granted. Best wishes👍

I had a serious knee injury 3 days ago and i feel like i tore my acl but when i went to see the doctor the doctor didn't examined me by touching bcs of corona or something but he said it's not acl it's yor mcl and when i told him should i do an mri test, he said don't need to and told me to revisit him after a month.. and that pissed me off. But he is known to be a very experienced orthopaedic.. but the problem is if we find out that my acl is torn, will it be very late for the sergery?
