I'm a bit confused. What happens to the QB old accounts that already has numbers(transactions) for example Checking, sub acct Expenses etc after I import your chart of acct? Will there be any duplicates? Do I need to make some of the QB old accounts inactive?

My chart of accounts is P&L accountd monthly. So your own bank accounts and credit card accounts just stay. You can change the number after the fact

Hey Hector! That was a great video, I am considering switching to Quickbooks from Sage. Is there a option to suppress a GL Account from printing on the Balance Sheet or P&L if there is a Zero balance in the account for the period you are running the report on?

Absolutely you can. QBO reports have a built in feature to hide zero or no-activity accounts

Or if you had a car that is half paid for and you have a loan balance on that car, how would you record that if you use it for your business. thank you in advance.

Wouldn't there need to be an offset of in credits? I am assuming you put that in a separate journal entry since you said you did several? Thanks!

Because I may start work next week and I have no idea how to record a daily sales and other for 3 restaurants. Owner has 3 different locations with all different foods. Sushi, bbq and other. They want to record income and expenses and payrolls in each 3 bank accounts using qb desktop. Do I need to use a class at preference?
