Yes, I never could see Willow as having properly 'gone evil.' It was pain that made her crazy, not a selfish power-hungry craze to 'rule/destroy the world' like every other Buffy villain. Except Spike. He just does it for fun 😁

@@cmm5542 Definitely makes for a very different type of "villain", if you can even say villain really. Buffy usually defeats the big bad monster but here, the monster really was pain, grief, rage, loss... Willow just needed love.

oh man- watching this reminded me of how obsessed I was with this show back in the day!- I only missed watching ONE episode of the entire series on tv- and even that one I got my friend to tape it for me so I could watch it when I got home! One of my favourite moments is the episode where Buffy sends Angel to hell and he says " so that's it huh? no weapons, no friends, no hope! take all that away and what's left?" Buffy: "ME!" and proceeds to kick his ass!- such a powerful and inspiring moment and concept, that was also incredibly sad at the same time! I love how Buffy addressed serious real world issues in almost every episode but wrapped it all up in fantasy and magic etc!
