I started buying into HBAR at around .039 cents and it’s made nice gains here in the last couple weeks. CSPR is also another good one to look at if you haven’t already 😉 I hope it goes well beyond $2.00 , I think the potential for growth is much greater than that. ALT coins need a big run up here soon !

What happens when the 9 ETFs and institutional money buys up all the Bitcoin and the price is over a million dollars a coin and is “potentially cornered? The “store of value” is all locked up and is the new “digital gold” off the market? What happened to gold, or happens to gold? Does gold lose it’s value since it has been unseated? Gold already had an ETF launched 20 years ago. How did that go, and how’s it going now? Seams like the shell game is just getting started. What’s interesting is when you hear the silence it’s probably because those that are making plans, do not reveal their future plans. If you hear them loudly, and all over the airwaves advertising, it usually means they are diverting attention to where they want you to go and what to see. Slight of hand. Even all the big crypto influencers aren’t saying much. They can’t be that blind. Or are they “shilling” until they can trade to another position? Ignorant, dumb, misinformed, slow, or stupid, I would not characterize these folks. As smart as Leemon and Mance? Ha! They just got back from Davos, do you really think those non-disclosure agreements would be broken for the news? If you think the biggest players in this crypto game (financial institutions) are telling you what they are doing and what they are connected to is something that they benefit from telling you, I’d say beware. Store of value? maybe? These institutions invest in money making machines. For that you need utility. Invest in gold 100 years ago, or invest in oil and steel 100 years ago. Gold was $20/once and has only 100xed in 100 years. Oil and steel businesses have delivered utility and have contributed to modern civilization worth hundreds of trillions of dollars. $20 if invested in oil and steel production business would have likely yielded $200,000 by now. Even more interesting is these financial institutional giants that created these ETFs have been invested directly, or indirectly with many of the Hedera Governing Council businesses that have a use case for the hashgraph technology. Blackrock alone has over 7 billion dollars of stock ownership alone in Boeing, which is only one of the 9 ETF issuers and Boeing is only one of 39 council members. How much are the institutions betting on how their current investments will do in the future? Likely far more than what they are going to invest in bitcoin. The big question is, when will they convert large portions of their bitcoin position to HBAR positions since that directly affects their prior business investments that dwarf the bitcoin ETFs? Do they care if bitcoin is successful? I doubt it. I think it was a means to an end. Or do you think they want their prior investment companies and network to become even more successful. That is exactly what Larry F said. They have a fiduciary duty to the shareholders, so I’d bet on that point. If the businesses do well, the shareholders do well. They are out to win. Looking at the DLT landscape and technology itself, Hedera is beyond the 1st and 2nd generation blockchain tech (bitcoin, ethereum), making it the winner. Do you really think they are betting on Bitcoin or Ethereum? Baitfish. Trojan horse if anything. If you can’t beat them, join them (bitcoin). Once you join them you parasitically immobilize them, make them obsolete, so they are no longer a threat. Then introduce a new pathway (hbar) that you are really promoting from the start. They didn’t get into bitcoin from the start so their position is crap. But they are definitely in on Hedera from the start, and it is right in front of you. This is a strategic plan that is part meritocratic and capitalistic. They want you see the shell game while they are playing chess. I’m betting on the winner, and in this day and age, the best technology wins. See you from the podium. That’s what I do, I drink, and I know things. - TL

Hedera uses ethereum EVM at the core. So the trxn finality speed is low.

Hedera is a stand-alone layer0 platform and has _zero_ to do with Eth _at its core,_ delivering finality in familiar VISA-speed at about 2-3 seconds. - Research will show that the EthereumVirtualMachine [EVM] is only required for interactions with the Ethereum-based chains, and when doing so, it is the 'Eth-at-its-core' that slows finality, specifically in the context of those transactions.
