I’m a finance student in college and I love listening to Patrick’s insight and experience. His clarity and nuance about market concepts are realistic, and unfortunately that means he’ll never be incredibly popular like some others

The “breaking the system” story of the friend is SUCH good advice. We can’t “woulda shoulda” with finances. It’s a sunk cost and you have to just learn and move on. If what you’ve learned still leans to selling, commit.

I first discovered Mr. Boyle the first time he called unto the the $10 Million Studio. One of the best guests. And one of the best presenters in his own right. Best thing I've learned from him, if it's not named after a dog, I don't trust it.

Hence why you keep buying and diversifying over a span of 30 years. As long as yoir portfolio follows the index its fine and you will make money. Never take money out of market, just keep adding. Using stop losses is fine if possible, but personally I dont care. Ill just let it ride.

I think the answer to questions about rigging is that you are never going to beat the big boys day-to-day, but buying and holding stock means becoming part of the owner class over the long run, and that’s the best place to be over time.

Also why the stimulus was actually a bad thing, really. Give everyone a certain amount of money, even if they use it, that amounts to billions of dollars flooding the market all in a short period. Plus, I believe it rather devalues the purchase power of money, especially with secondhand or private deals.

I got the 1,400. final "stimulus" dropped into my SS account. Most of those monies went back INTO the economy as most people receiving were short on income. It didn't "devalue" anything. And it didn't "flood" anything. In the bigger money picture a MUCH MORE DANGEROUS issue was why billionaires and their corporations were ALLOWED to borrow money at almost ZERO interest to compete against the average home buying/searching consumer, who wouldn't get to borrow any money without paying big points, even though their credit rating might have been incredible. THAT has/had/and will keep having an impact.

They WERE going bankrupt and turned things around. Executives from amazon are joining the team. Lots of bullish things about GME regardless of a squeeze
