Hedgehog Mushrooms -- How to Find This Delicious Wild Mushroom!

Hedgehog mushrooms (Hydnum repandum) are edible mushrooms that grow in Europe and North America. They are also called sweet tooth mushrooms. They have a distinctive lumpy shape, with caps whose undersides are covered with soft spikes, or teeth, that are reminiscent of the spiky fur of a hedgehog.
These mushrooms are delicious and are considered by many to be as good as chanterelles.
