Glad to see you have some relief. Like I commented on your first video I was able to overcome mine with the old stretch exercises. Used a towel on my toes and GENTLY stretched my foot back for a few minutes whenever I got the chance to sit. Thanks for sharing this method. The good news is, once I became pain free it has not recurred. Been about 6 years now. Hope it goes the same for you.

Survival On Purpose - Hey Brian, I know some people complain about your "rambling" but I see it as you being you. You come across to me ad a genuine guy. The way you talk and how you present things is all part of that. So maybe see it as firing subscribers that would fire themselves for one reason or another anyway. Keep being you brother. And please keep making videos with integrity like you always have. I will quit rambling now.

I've had Plantar Fasciitis for a few months now, because I'm overweight I guess and I bought a pair of those $9 orthotics from Walmart and they worked so so. Thank you the reviewing these products from Heal the Pain. It's nice to know that there are companies that seem to be tackling the problem instead of just trying to make a profit.

@alanaspopo19557 жыл бұрын
Lots of plantar fasciitis is caused by the tendons contracting. Your solution is one way to treat it. The best way is to go to a competent podiatrist. The one you evidently saw was a scam artist! There are a lot of those out there Brian. The good ones will detect heel spurs and tighten tendons pretty quickly. They will do a two angle view of your foot then most likely a pair of cortisone injections which I can tell you from personal experience are not pleasant! In other words they hurt like he'll and after a few minutes will go away, but then the next morning you foot will hurt again maybe for two days and you will curse the doctor and go to your next appointment scared that he is going to hurt you again! Don't worry because he won't! He will ask you a lot of questions and check your feet very carefully. Then his nurse will apply some pads hand made right in front of you. They consist of a foam sticky tape with a Styrofoam looking pad inside of them. Costs about $10.00-15.00. You will feel your arch raised up. The first couple of days your feet will feel sore, but amazingly that little bump you feel under your arch is pushing on the bottom of your tendons loosening them up. They give a list of stretching exercises to do with them and tell you to come back every 45 days and on the 90 day they take another 2 angle x-ray. After doing this about 3 times a year they schedule you to visit once a year if treatment is going well. So I would tell you this. Keep wearing the arch supports. The heal supports are not really needed but you can wear them if you want. Arch supports are what help the most for me and I don't have the pain any more. I went for almost a year and a half before. Find your self a good podiatrist and get real relief. I would be wearing arch supports now but don't need them, though anytime I feel any heel pain coming on I slip one of the arch supports back on for about 3-4 days. Pain goes away. Usually heel stones are a result of continued untreated plantar fasciitis. I strongly urge yo to find a good podiatrist and certainly not the one you went to so as to get proper treatment for your treatment. Home remedies are not a good solution. My pads can be made at home but they just don't seem to have the proper fit in the arch that the nurse makes. I suppose if I had to make some I could make them after a few attempts but I have two left and one is brand new. I have full confidence my Doctor and nurse are a great team and there for my care. I hope you too can find the proper team.
@SurvivalOnPurpose7 жыл бұрын
+James Andrews I did not actually see the podiatrist. But I would prefer to find a “non-invasive”’natural solution. But whatever worked for you is good. I’m glad you got relief.

I just ordered three pair of the Heal That Pain heel seats, one of each type of material they're made with. I'll have to check out those full length inserts too. The things that have really helped me that I do every day is, calf stretches and ham string stretches every half hour or more throughout the day. That stretching really helps greatly. Also, when walking I walk flat footed with the foot that hurts. That means that I don't land that foot's step on the heel, I land the foot flat footed or even fore footed when I walk. I also use the spike massage balls in the morning and at night. When I sleep I use the Mars Wellness night splint and it works great. It's not like the one you showed in the video. Also, my work boots are very low heeled Carolina ca9525 boots that are great. I put gel inserts in them with dense foam rubber heal seats and will try the heal that pain inserts now. Also, before bed, I use Absorbine horse liniment that I buy at Tractor Supply Company or TSC. The liniment is just Absorbine Jr. but less expensive and in a larger bottle.

Started hurting a few weeks after we got home. I have had accupuncture 3 times. This did not work out for me. Watched hundreds of videos of everyone telling u to do certain stretches and the next person telling u not to. There are so e good yoga stretch videos i think make since that i am doing twice a day. I have tried 3-4 different insert. Bought the 50$ inserts from Walmart. Still in pain. Had feet x-ray. I have a small bone spur. I ordered the inserts on Amazon that u are recommended and received them today. I put them in my work shoes and going to give them a try tomorrow. Thanks for posting the video.

My mother had foot surgery last year, and since then she has gotten so much better. Her foot was in bad shape, her bones were shifting and physically her foot looked horrible. Have you considered getting foot surgery in the future? I will tell you it can take months to heal with a tens therapy unit, and using a scooter to get around. But my mother no longer has any foot problems, she had her bunion removed and had her bones screwed together. It’s a lot, but it was worth it in the end.

Well not simply but walking with a very specific movement of your foot as you step off. It stretches and hurts like heck but do that long enough and I've noticed very good improvement. Dear Bryan: the next time you go to see your family doctor, ask for a vitamin D test. I had suffered from plantar fasciatis for years and the condition made it impossible for me to get any real exercise. Then, I started started to gain weight from having to be adopt a sedentary life style and so my feet got worse. I tried every single device available at the time that was economically feasible for me and was unsuccessful. So, I ended up going to a Rheumatologist. He tested me for vitamin D, and, well, my body was not producing any significant level of it. It becomes harder for the body to produce Vitamin D as we get older (sigh). Between that natural cause and the fact that the light from our sun is dimming (down by 20% globally as some researchers have found) due to all the air traffic and that stuff that is being sprayed up there. Anyway, when my Vitamin D was restored, the foot pain went away. I have been watching you for a couple of years, and you seem to sweat a lot from the scalp. I know it is hot in Georgia...it is also hot in Alabama where I live, but excessive head sweating is indicative of low Vitamin D. Which reminds me to take that as a supplement again. In Christ, Jeannie.

Brian, I suffered with Plantar Fasciitis for years. I had tried EVERYTHING including the night boot, and Heel That Pain. The very best relief came from the Heel That Pain insoles, BUT it never cured the root problem. I finally went back to sleeping with the boot. While it is very uncomfortable, I stuck with it for 2 weeks. After 2 weeks, the pain was nearly gone. I continued to use the boot for another 2 weeks, and I have been cured! Do yourself a favor, stop treating the pain for TEMPORARY pain relief. Think of it this way...would you use a "toothache jel" every day for temporary pain relief, or go get the tooth repaired for PERMANENT pain relief? With that being said, I do continue to wear my insoles to prevent injuring the tendons in the future, but I don't buy the high dollar insoles. Trust me, go back to the boot! Yes its uncomfortable, but suck it up for a few weeks, and you will be cured! Good luck, and may God bless you and yours!

Survival On Purpose I’ve been buying these gel inserts at Walmart for years. It’s a 2 pack for 10 dollars. www.walmart.com/ip/SOFCOMFORT-Men-s-Everyday-Gel-Insole-2-Pack-One-Size-Fits-All-Cut-to-Fit/26524721. These pretty much rejuvenate my worn out soles or mid soles of my shoes that feel like they’re worn out after 6 months of use. Sometimes I combine gel heel seats on top of full gel inserts to help fill in the trough my heels make in the EVA foam midsoles of today’s shoes. It seems like shoes only stay comfortable for about six months and then they still look new, but start killing my feet. Gel inserts really help.

I hope they help you. I am 100% a believer in these. I have them in every pair of shoes I wear. I suggest the full insoles but they all seem to work. Also, I take Vitamin B5 (Pantothenic Acid) every day too.

Survival On Purpose are you fully healed yet? And I’m going to buy them they do look a lot firmer then superfeet lol I hope it will go away one day lol what is vitamin B5 used for? Is that going to help as well?

I guess I am. My feet don’t hurt in the morning like the used to. And the B5 is for your tendons (I think) I looked up natural remedies and there was a video by Dr Ax that mentioned the vitamin. It is cheap so I take it.
