The Italian contestant and her dog were wronged by judge #3. She scored them much lower than the other two judges. The contestant and her dog were spot on! The contestant and his dog doing the Time Warp were amazing. And the French contestant with his dog doing a magic act to the Peter Gunn theme were a delight!

Content, accuracy and interpretation.

@@vermilliongecko Care to elaborate on what those mean?
@horselover77443 жыл бұрын
@@TheWickedWizardOfOz1 Content def : The other meaning has to do with subject matter: the content of a history class might be American history. The content of a math class might be geometry. As long as there's a topic or subject, there's content Accuracy means to be precise in something (what they are looking for in those routines is accuracy of the different movements included are they perfect or is there mistakes ? )(Contestants have to limit those mistakes Interpretation is usually for what story you are presenting Is the song fitting well to your story ? Is the music also fitting for your story Is your character relatable to people so they can understand your story and interpret it themselves Hope it helps :) (Ps : if i made a mistake or didn't explain correctly Anyone feel free to correct me )
@TheWickedWizardOfOz13 жыл бұрын
@@horselover7744 I fail to see how that definition of "content" applies to this. I know what content is in any normal situation, but what does it mean *here?* What are they actually judging? Accuracy really ought to be "technical elements" to make it clearer, if that is what they mean here. And interpretation is probably style like you said, I don't have a real question about that.

When the judges are far off from each others scores (and I consider two whole points or more far off) for the same trainer/dog in the same category then one of those judges missed it!! I understand most of the time they are not going to give the exact same scores but they should be close if they are all judging by the same standards! The judge that gave the low scores were they wrong where the dog did better than the score the judge gave them OR was the trainer/dog's performance not as good as what the other judges gave the higher scores for? And when a trainer and dog competes a lot winning more than one competition in the same year then it seems all the judges know what scores they will give that one. Sorry I know it's just my opinion but that is how it comes across to me! Seems totally unfair to let the same trainer compete in more than one competition in the same year.

Stark Equestrian right??? I thought for sure they would jump to the top! Their routine seems to flow together. You could barely see the hand commands and they just work so in tune together. Definitely should have scored higher.

I am surprised the judges didn't pick the same one for first place that they pick just about every time or at least about every time out of the competitions I've watched. You can't convince me (even though I know I could be wrong) that the judges don't have preferences on who they pick as the winners without even seeing the performances unless of course the trainer and/or dog messes up really bad where it would be obvious if they were given a high score. I don't have a good opinion of the judges at all and I think my opinion is valid when I see how far off they are from each other on some of the scores. When one judge gives a 6 or 7 to a performance while another judge gives a 8 or 9 (within the same categories) to the same performance, which is it?? One judge is saying they are the best or among the best while another judge disagrees by giving lower scores so that alone tells me they are not always picking the best performance for the winners!! I know the judges won't always give the exact same scores within the same categories but they should be closer than what they are on some of the performances for it to be creditable who the winners are IMO. And it sure SEEMS to me that they already know when a certain trainer comes that wins most all the time that they are going to give them higher scores even if it's not the best performance. I'm not saying that this person doesn't give the best performance some times but other times I do believe there are performances that are better that deserve to win. That's really why they should limit trainers to competing only in one competition a year and that way people won't think the judges are favoring the same trainer in all the competitions.

@dindinprivate34774 жыл бұрын
Watch the handler's hands and body movemennts - they are giving commands the whole time.
@horselover77443 жыл бұрын
They are giving subtle hand commands,voice commands (Also body commands )(when the owner spins around in a certain direction it signals to the dog to circle around or go in reverse and circle around depending which direction the owner goes Of course this kind of gesture need a lot of training beforehand to be executed smoothly )
@Hodoss3 жыл бұрын
I guess they teach each trick separately with rewards, then start putting them in sequence and with repetition the dog eventually has it all memorised. The owner’s own routine acts as reminders and commands. The dog knows "when you do this, I do that".
