I wish they had spoken urdu. They ruined the urdu. Tawaifs use to speak excellent urdu. Sanjay lila should not have made such big mistake

They spoke urdu and did their best but the creators have to cater to a wide audience...So the show can't be a pure urdu one...This is I believe could be the reason but despite of that, the show did a pretty great job in terms of speaking urdu unlike other films or shows
