Super Video. Werde mir die R11 auch kaufen zur Zeit habe ich noch die Ls 50 an ein Yamaha rxa 3080 und eine img Stageline 2000d dazu. Gut das es verschiedene Musik gespielt wurde.

Danke schön, viel spass mit deiner neue lautsprecher. Die Ls50’s sind keine slechtes lautsprecher, vielleicht kannst du dieser irgendwo anders brauchen. Ich probierte soviel möglich verschieden musik ab zu spielen ins videos. I hope i havent made any big language mistakes, German is my 3rd language

The Hegel 390 sounds like an el34 valve amplifier but faster. Rich, musical and un fatiguing.

Hi! Thank you for the review. May I ask what speakers should I go for a large long livingroom, around 60sqm, with big windows on one side. I’m not looking for loud auditions, but moderate to low, looking for that hifi sound, with nice bass even at the low volume. Right now I have the Monitor Audio Silver 200 (6g) with Rega Elex-R. They are good, but not that hifi. Should I get the R7 or the R11? I’m also looking at the Sonus Faber Sonetto 3. Unfortunately I don’t have the budget to change the amp too, so I will stick for a while with the Elex-R. Any recommendations for the speakers will be much appreciated. Thank you all!

I don’t understand the point of these recordings. Other than aesthetics how can I possibly gauge the sound quality when I’m watching this video on my iPad. Even if I were watching this video on my main system how could I gauge this time quality without knowing how it was recorded.

@@amandhillon73 for what it's worth, a lot of people enjoy these types of videos. Obviously I wouldn't base a future or potential purchase solely on a KZbin video, but for what it's worth, if nothing else it can help to build eagerness or excitement on a product. Besides, alot of people have world class systems that they enjoy sharing. KZbin is just one way to share, even if it is nothing more than base imitation. Apologies for the crude and short comment earlier!

I have the Hegel H590. I’ve recently upgraded my speakers. I auditioned amongst others the Kef R11 and the ATC SCM40. I purchased the Kef. They better suited my listening preference. They are a more sensitive speaker, so, did not lose tonality at low volume. Having said that, the mid-range on the ATC is exemplary. The Hegel has excellent current reserves so the pairing should work well if you like the sonic signature of the ATC.

Richard De Gannes late reply but they are good speakers but need room to sound well and a good amp. I personally prefer Harbeth, Wharfedale when it comes to English sound but thats a matter of taste.

There is nothing wrong with class-d amps, especially the Purifi Eigentakt ones. They sound so much better than the first class d amps

This type of video dumbfounds me. Regardless of what type of equipment you listen to this video on, be it your smart phone, tablet, laptop, headphones or a full blown ‘high end’ hifi rig, what you’re actually hearing is the sonic signature of the equipment reproducing the video, not that of the Hegel and Kef! I have the R11 speakers, which I drive with the H590. If I played those tracks direct from source through my system, the sonic reproduction would be unrecognisable from that on the video. A bit like getting a man who is colour blind to judge a colour television.

I know what you mean. I started this channel just out of fun and during a burnout, it gives me joy doing this. No need to be negative about what i do with my channel, and i heard all the systems and can tell from what i heard that my videos do have some of the signatures of the system playing.

@@howardskeivys4184 ya know, I get it, I really do. I wouldn't make a future or potential purchase based off a youtube video. That would be insane.. a lot of people enjoy making these videos, and lot of people enjoy watching them. Not to mention discovering a multitude of different artists, music styles, etc.. No one is forcing you to "watch" these videos only to follow up with a comment basically berating the person who spent the time making it. People generally like to share their systems w others, it's a big part of the hobby. This is just one way of sharing, even if it's base imitation at the most. Anyways, enjoy listening to your system on mute while having a breath mint as you wet your whistle. Stay thirsty!
