Let me tell you something young man, from an old man nearing his end. "Big boys don't cry" is a load of rubbish. A massive one. Holding in your emotions and trying to be stoic is extremely bad for you and for those around you. Just like a volcano, eventually the pressure builds up so far that it explodes and disaster strikes. In life, that's usually at the worst possible time and at the people you love the most. Crying is normal and natural. Is there an appropriate and inappropriate time? Of course, but you MUST relax and let it out as soon as possible. You can end up really hurting people, possibly even losing them from your life

Igor Krutoy is a famous Russian composer. He wrote music for several of Dimash's songs, for example - Olimpiko, Stranger, Love is like a dream. Lara Fabian and many other good singers sang to his music. When I listen to Dimash - every time I have tears in my eyes! Before that, I listened to songs many times and there were no tears! Dimash sings amazingly !!

Masterful singing with many advanced vocal technique : “messa de voce “ from Italian Bel Canto technique at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, how difficult it is ! Oh my god, his skills🔥 only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. I mean singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note! Also, he sings with so much emotions, floatiness, and grace ! Even it is only a A vowel but so hard because it is so exposed. His breath control is insanely amazing! That sustained D6 with F6 on his super HEAD VOICE (I don’t think it is whistle, he does whistle on 7th octave only) are so good with the resonance 🔥🔥🔥

The official video has over 750 million views. A lot of people have covered the song since it first came out in 1965. Disturbed's version is the only one that Paul Simon put a link to on his social media pages. I've lost count of the number of reactions I've watched. At the end, David Dramen hits a note that, to me anyway, is absolutely pure and perfect on the word 'sound'. I get chills every single time I hear it. I would love to see your reaction. What a beautiful, genuine, and heartfelt reaction. This is one of the most beautiful pieces of music I have ever listened to, and only Dimash's voice could evoke such a profound emotional response in me. This rendition touches the very core of my soul. I have watched this performance numerous times already since it premiered and I am moved to tears the moment I hear the first note sung by Dimash's angelic voice. This is a vocalise interpretation of the opening vocals of Schubert's “Ave Maria”. Igor Krutoy (on piano) composed this rendition for Dimash; it is not a cover. The piece uses only three bars from the original composition and changes the fourth note to a higher note. Someone explained that Dimash called Igor Krutoy with an idea for a brand new interpretation of Ave Maria and asked him to compose the music. Dimash is said to love Gregorian choral music which is where he got the inspiration. Igor composed the music, after which Dimash conceived these exquisite vocals. Someone else likened it to “a leap from "dark to light" which is the same contrast as Dimash's outfit (dark to light)!” The last note Diamsh sings is known as "Messa di Voce", the singing of a gradual crescendo and decrescendo on a long sustained note. It is considered one of the most difficult vocal exercises and voice experts regard it as the ultimate test for any singer, a skill even the most experienced vocalists rarely ever master. There are at least 11 other compositions titled "Ave Maria" and over 40 different renditions of these versions. The version most people are likely familiar with is Schubert's 1825 composition or the 1853 Gounod composition, based on a famous Bach keyboard prelude written 137 years earlier. Here is a list of different composers/compositions: Ave Maria - F. Schubert (1797-1828) Ave Maria - C. Gounod (1818-1893) Ave Maria - J. S. Bach (1685-1750) Ave Maria - G. The clouds, his eyes, the choir, starting a cappella, his face before he starts, the purity of sound, absolutely Divine sound from his soul. The first time I viewed this, from the moment I saw Dimash at the mic, moving slowly to the mic and bowing his head, eyes closed, something transcendent coming thru his body and face.....and then.....that first tone…….my eyes filled with tears......thru the entire piece tears.....and each time I've watched again…..the sheer etherial sublime heavenly beauty of his sound coupled with emotions of hope and compassion…….Even the choir is applauding at the end. This "Ave Maria" is a fragment of the opera by Russian musician and composer Vladimir Vavilov, which Ygor Krutoy decently composed and arranged especially for the voice of Dimash. In the performance Dimash appears with a pair of wings representing the Angel Gabriel when he comes to announce to "young Mary" the birth of our "Lord Jesus the Christ". "Ave Maria" is a meditation, a prayer and considered the great mystery of birth and death when the soul descends to earth and ascends to heaven in return from where it came.
