Just to clarify (because you said they added a heartbeat because this was a competition), he was not competitive there. He was actually a jury member (judge) at that New Wave competition this year, but during the course of the event he also performed three of his own songs as a guest performer (since he was already a jury member there), and Ave Maria was one of them. Side note: he made the (correct) decision to stop competing in any competitions after 2019.

Next please react to Dimash singing Stranger at the same event (as I mentioned in an earlier comment today he was NOT competing there. He was a jury member but also performed three songs of his own as a guest performer since he was already there as a judge. Ave Maria and Stranger are two of these songs. Both are composed by Igor Krutoy specifically for Dimash.

How about some Katrina Velarde, I can't recall you reacting to her and she is called the Asian Vocal Supreme for a reason. In a way she is like Dimash except while Dimash's base is classical, hers is 90's R&B if that makes any sense. God, how I would love to see those two together, the riffs and runs she would teach him.

Masterful singing with many advanced vocal technique : “messa de voce “ from Italian Bel Canto technique at the last note sustained 15 seconds on the note C6 . Swell, increase and decrease the volume but don’t change the pitch, how difficult it is ! Oh my god, his skills🔥 only pro vocalists with years of training can do it. I mean singing on whistle and super head voice with SOFT SOUND IS SO HARD TO DO, harder than loud whistle note! Also, he sings with so much emotions, floatiness, and grace ! Even it is only a A vowel but so hard because it is so exposed. His breath control is insanely amazing! That sustained D6 with F6 on his super HEAD VOICE (I don’t think it is whistle, he does whistle on 7th octave only) are so good with the resonance 🔥🔥🔥

You won't know this Ave Maria, it's not a version or cover, its a totally new composition by Igor Krutoy who composed this vocalise, no lyrics, at the request of Dimash who asked him to compose music for him for a brand new Ave Maria, Dimash likes choral music, and this gorgeous vocalise is the result of this latest collaboration of two genius musicians, Masters of their crafts. 💖 its Sochi ch like cheese. He was a judge at New Wave and guest performer, he premiered 3 new songs here and the heartbeat is part of the Ave Maria, he doesn't compete in these competitions, why would he? Dimash's whistle register doesn't begin until the 7th octave 💖 if you are interested the drumbeat is exactly the same as Led Zeppelin When the Levee Breaks 🥰 at the end, it was a magnificent Messa de Voce 👌 not correcting at all but a very difficult and highly advanced technique that takes years to master, but then Dimash is the absolute king of vocal mastery 🌟

No it isn't true. I think, you didn't hear her last reaction to Adagio.🤣🤣🤣 it seems, the education of Juillard is very bad, if their best students can honestly, I.d. without any knowledge of wellknown singers and songs to make their reactions. It was not her critik of his english diction but her words, that he didn't work enough to learn it, that wasn't honestly.. all dears know, that he had some problems in english. But we all know, how hard he works everytime. And she was of the meaning, that he didn't work enough...

@@kalamkasbbb9187 I have seen the reaction. I don't remember the specific words she used BUT I remember that she wasn't mean or malicious in her meaning. Don't any of the things you say come out a bit different that you meant them to be? Don't you do mistakes? I only mean that we shouldn't shoot her down, as dears do to so many reactors. And, Juilliard is one of the top three music institutes in the world. As a classical musician, I know this very well. I doesn't mean the people in it are perfect. Being in Juilliard doesn't mean you speak perfectly in KZbin reactions :D So you saying Juilliard's level is lower because you disagreed with her abour something is kind of insulting...Think about how you speak to other people.

@@kalamkasbbb9187 I don't understand German, but I tried to google-translate your answer. I will just point out, that Maggie didn't know about his problems with English, even if it's normal knowledge for dears. I agree with you that she didn't have to blame him for not doing enough work. Then about her professionalism; she studies opera. She doesn't need to know this piece or performance if she studies in Juilliard classical department. One classical pianist I know didn't even know Frank Sinatra, not to even mention this song (the pop-version, Adagio is originally a classical piece). Of course I can't tell for sure if she lied about something, I don't know her, I just don't want to jump into conclusions and spread unnecessary hate.

Dimash is not a Saprano, thus he's doing things differently, unreplicated, unmatched. He's beyond opera. Many of you critiquing will not dream to sing in the variety of language and styles, be humble and appreciate his talent. He aims to transport his audience from the mundane and leave them with a good feeling. Just appreciate someone who was born for it, Mr. Kinetic voice.

Thank God you're back. I've been looking forward to your being able to react to this song. Not to mention that he has released quite a few performances over the last 3 months that I hope you get to for reaction. This is an Igor Krutoy composition that he did at the request of Dimash. There have been quite a few discussions in reactors comments about what version this might have been based on. Having listened to a version on KZbin my personal opinion, which might be totally incorrect, is Caccini's. We may never know unless Igor chooses to elaborate on that.

I'm a Dear and totally agree with you on the English diction in other songs. He's getting better though. I hope he has a good coach to work on that with him. Thank you for your elaborate analysis. For me personally, I'm missing the emotional part; it kind of falls away by stopping the video so often, and I personally think the simplicity (without words and a simple note schedule) and the purity of the frequencies he is conveying is making this piece. As I heard another vocal coach mention; the technique is there after a lot of practice and mastering, to forget it, so that you can focus on the transmission of the emotions, the story, the feeling, etc...something that goes beyond al that and becomes actually a quantum, something more than the sum of it's elements. Something Divine. I miss the acknowledgement of that.

Hello again, Maggie. It's good to see you back in the Dimash reaction world. Thanks for your highly informative comments here. I'd like to comment on your "dastardly crime" of commenting on Dimash's imperfect English diction. As I've been watching many Dimash performances and reaction videos for several years running now, I do consider myself a genuine Dear, and as a linguist, ESOL tutor and English professor, I'm as protective as anyone of Dimash from unjust criticism of his English production. However, the fact remains that his English diction *has* been imperfect, and pretending otherwise is not only dishonest, but counterproductive as well, for if no one ever took this fact up with him, it's very unlikely he'd have improved as much as he has in the past couple of years. Multilingual singers very *often* pay for instruction on improving their foreign language production, and as Dimash sings in 12 languages, I can only imagine he has done this more than most. All of this is to say you've committed no crime in pointing out the obvious, and I'm grateful for your honesty and professionality in mentioning it as you did. So, again, thanks for this highly informative reaction. Cheers.
