What if you are changing all colors, how long does the changeover take including washing the ink fountains?

Hi @vixola9268, This video shows a Speedmaster XL 106-7+L with Hycolor Multidirve and AutoPlate XL. A printing plate change, inking unit washing, blanket washing and impression cylinder washing can be carried out simultaneously in all units in a makeready time of 2,5 minutes. If automatic ink duct washing is added to this, the makeready time for all units is 3,5 minutes. One operator can refill two ink fountains with ink in this time. If 2 helpers are added to help fill in new ink, a total of 4 minutes is required. If all units are to be filled with new ink by one operator, the total set-up time is approx. 12 minutes. The machine sets up very quickly. If there is an ink change in all printing units at the same time, another assistant should provide short-term support during this time to keep the OEE high, as seen in the video. Yes indeed it is. You can also check other job sheets via the program and monitor other processes. But luckily the printer does most of the work, just have to make sure to add ink frequently or else there will be printing defects

@@jgslimftwguzman1926 Hello, I also work on an XL162 and the plates do not bend. What I can't do is do a correct nonStop, something always fails and if it doesn't fail when withdrawing, the bars that hold the paper drag it and fold it, so in the end you have to stop to remove the folded sheets.

Really nice equipment, horrible marketing. When producing vids for the American/English speaking market, you absolutely can not have a German speaking. This guy's English is very good, but that accent is still there. The native English speaker just doesn't have the video presence needed; he may be technically perfect, but lacks the photogenic requirements to attract and maintain viewer attention. Years ago, I was working on a project for a plasma torch, xyz, water-flooded table. Hot, tight, fast, wet and easy, was the slogan, with a hot bitch straddling the xy arm in a hot pink bikini at a trade show. hot because of the temp; tight because of the tolerances, fast because of travel time, wet because it was flooding to reduce particulate matter while cutting, and easy payment plan. This was one of the first CNC/Gcode/DXF/AutoCad driven plasma tables back in the 80s, and we sold so many of them, we all got very wealthy. The table was a technical marvel back then, but it was the pussy that sold it.
