YAS!! I have to say Nagoya is kind of unfriendly place to walk and it is really for cars if not use to distances 🥹 you found a lot more beautiful stuff than the time I was there! Also I love it queen 😂😂😂 at Nagoya castle, a samurai that cannot run past the moats. Love the relaxing vibes you guys had in this video ❤️

Hehe tysm!!! I bought an expensive tote bag and while walking around it RIPPED and all my stuff fell on the STREET 🥲 That wouldve been my villain origin story. Whereas that NB tote was less than 1,000 pesos. 🤧 Yeah! They have oat and soy milk 😮💨

hi heidi! I recently found out I'll be studying law at Nagoya University for my year abroad starting September 2024 and I'm super excited. One problem is that I don't speak A WORD of Japanese. Of course I am going to try and take some classes before I move over, but do you think you can get by with just english in Nagoya or should I really dedicate myself to learning Japanese?
@heidisarol Жыл бұрын
Hi Gracie, I think learning some basic Japanese will help you adjust to your new environment better. It will also empower you to go out and explore! You don't have to be fluent by any means but learning the basics of greetings, entrances and exits etc will go a long way.

Omg hello!!! Its been a while! How have you been? If ever you go to Nagoya I would really recommend the chicken wings and miso katsu. Unagi is also a specialty although expensive :(

@@heidisarol here just came from my vacation in the US. Sounds yum! My Japanese teacher and a friend are from there hehehe. Do you take a plane or train to go there?
@heidisarol2 жыл бұрын
How fun! I hope it was a restful trip for you :) Oh wow Nagoya is actually pretty central, its not too far from Osaka/Kyoto either. I took a bus and it was about 4-5 hours but I only paid 3000 or 4000 yen for the ticket (one way) hehe.
@mvccarlos2 жыл бұрын
@@heidisarol oh ok. good to know there's also a bus option. how much was the unagi if you don't mind me asking? thanks for the info. just to share... we had a tokyo stopover. of course i didn't want to leave. i remember the flight attendant asked if i was staying in japan, i was tempted to answer i wish. Hehehe!
@heidisarol2 жыл бұрын
@@mvccarlos personally I'm not a fan of unagi so we didnt try it hehe. Wow haneda or narita! Its good they still allow transit passengers. Were you able to buy anything during your layover!

Nagoya is so beautiful! Too bad, I've never been to a Castle before. It looks so cool. I also don't like to watch action movies but I've heard a lot of good reviews too, I think I might watch it na hehe. And Lady Gaga is the one who sang the theme song ( gaga fan here haha). And that miso katsu looks soooo good. I've never tried one before huhu. Hanap ako dito kung saan meron T.T
