Hi Shane, good work, you made that look easy, not done any more to mine as we've been flat out getting ready for lambing, starting this weekend fingers crossed.

Yeah, it's really easy once a technique is figured out. That depth control fell in the casting about 10 times before I figured it out. Good luck with the new little lambs!

Playing catch up since being away but that went very well.

Thank you sir. What you *didn't* see was the couple of fumbles and bumbles through it the first few times trying to remember how it was supposed to go back in. :-) The magic of editing! I dropped the depth control into the casting at least 10 times.

That's a handy video, the bracket on mine had broken and some one had tried to weld the cast. Machined a new one slightly different to your 😀OEM one. Not sure if I have had it on KZbin yet. M

@@MarshallSmart There'll be a few videos that come out before I get to the adjustments video. Have to put the sensing unit back on and reinstall quadrant. also have to put oil in, change the bypass filter and make sure it's all tightened up before I get to filming the adjustments. However, if you're ready to do yours, all I'm going to be doing is going by the DBTC website version of these adjustments. These adjustments are easier than the service manual way. dbtc.co.uk/?page_id=1644 The specific adjustments I'm referring to are these: dbtc.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/11/shs7.jpg

@@path.of.discovery Got the came plate fitted today. I think the block I made is a bit tall. Had to use a shorter spring. Sitting in to cam at full hight. Also discovered that the top casting on the 3 way valve is broken of. I'll make a new one in steel. This guides the 3 way lever straight. Might get to fitting the quadrant tomorrow. See 😀M

@@MarshallSmart I've just finished a 3d model of my pushrod block and put a drawing together. See if you can access the link below. The drawings are in both A4 and 8.5x11 paper and there's also a 3d STL file for the push rods block. drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ozxYVIdu9o823ttEX6fiitGrJoJceyi9?usp=sharing

I don´t need TCU, so I ask if is really necessary to connect the control cable, or just not?
Thanks for watching! I'm only working on the hydraulics on my 990 in the videos so far on my channel. However there are several great online resources available and if you don't have a good Service Manual, I'd recommend getting one for your 996. See my earlier video on "How do I find help for my David Brown Tractor" for more information on finding Service Manuals and more. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a5-8mZuOjdV6fNk
