You can definitely decrease your height (aka making you stop grow, for example by hurting your growth plates, scoliosis and probs some form of puberty blockers) but naturally increasing it by more than a fee centimeters isn’t possible to my knowledge

@@Jiaozhi_ Yes it does help you grow but genetics have the ultimate decision over your body. You could be short with tall parents if one of your grandparents has shorter genetics. Calcuim does help bone strength and stretching wouldn't grow the muscles and bones just make you stand taller not grow many inches.

Height is 80% genetics but 20% is environmental. However it is not the things mentioned in the video, rather consuming enough calories, having any form of exercise regularly, as well as staying away from drugs and harmful substances (as well as mothers good health but that is too late now!)

Genetics play a big part but lifestyle plays a part too. Know a friend, he has short parents but he grew much taller than them because he’s a competitive swimmer. So it really depends but genes are the big factor

Personally, my sister is 174cm and I'm only 162cm, there's a 11months difference between us. The only real difference is she slept a lot during her teenage years (including napping in the afternoons), where's I could hardly sleep even at nights, I 'm a real light sleeper, she hardly wakes up even from loud noises😂

Unfortunately, sleeping didn't work out for me. Genetics determine too much. I slept for 12 hours a day as a teenager. I ate so much. Drank lots of milk because I grew up in the Got Milk era and still ended up being 164 cm 😅 oh and I jumped rope all the time because people said it helps 😂

I stopped growing in 11th grade, but I grew so much so quickly over the span of a summer in middle school I have chronic joint and tendon issues. Being "tall" is definitely not as great as it sounds, especially when you're only 11 or 12. But I can at least say the weird looks stop as you get older, so you can look forward to that.

The real key are the hormonal medicines(especially in case of minor idols) that they consume in large amounts! Thats why alot of u guys who are saying we drink milk and hang but still dont grow is bec we use natural methods which are slower.

I remember back when being very tall as a female idol was lowkey not well received. When Sulli from f(x) would constantly get body shamed for being tall. I remember when she went on a reality show and they insisted she was over 170cm but she was only 168cm. Idk, the way the beauty standards change on a dime is wild. Goes to show that no one should be following a standard they cannot attain naturally. I used to be really self conscious of my height at 158cm. Now, I’m rather grateful bc I can sit in an economy airplane seat comfortably. I can sit in any size car comfortably. I’m always smaller than my bed so I don’t need to spend extra for a bigger bed. And so on. My only nemesis is a tall public toilet seat.

Genetic and lifestyle both play a part. My parents are about 5’3” and 5’4”. My older sister and I are the same, yet our 3 younger siblings are tall. Younger sister 5’8” and 2 brothers over 6 feet tall. My mom has tall brothers and our grandfather was tall from her side so genes contributed then my younger siblings were also the only ones constantly drinking milk, soy milk, and eating cheese as if they were meals as children so I think that also contributed to their growth.
