Video Summary: 1. Neutral Game Strategy: - Heihachi’s neutral play is high-risk, high-reward; careful movement and timing are essential. - Use perfect electrics to compete with other Mishima characters, as it serves as the cornerstone of Heihachi's neutral game. - Avoid overextending with large swings; play "small Tekken" by focusing on precise moves and safe pokes. 2. Offensive and Defensive Tactics: - Utilize wave dashing for realignment and neutral control; it helps track opponents trying to sidestep. - Rely on timing-based counter-hits and small pokes like jabs or down forward ones to open up opponents. - Lows should be used sparingly; only use sweeps or safe lows to stop sidestepping when necessary. - Confirm key moves like forward four for maximum damage opportunities. 3. Heat Management: - Activate heat in every round for boosted damage and combo extensions. - Use heat pop strategically; avoid doing it at round start when it's too obvious. - Heat smash should be used carefully due to its limited tracking and reach. - While in heat, take advantage of the auto-parry on Wind God K and the enhanced properties of certain moves. 4. Ultimate Form (Power-Up Mode): - Ultimate form grants additional damage and move enhancements; use it to punish anything minus 12 or more. - Be patient and avoid spamming moves; wait for punishable opportunities. - Enhanced moves in ultimate form include forward for three (+1 on block) and single hell sweep (-14 on block). 5. Combo Execution and Optimization: - Maximize combo damage using the hardest-hitting variations, especially in heat. - Learn frame-perfect techniques like the golden Omen for optimal damage. - Use parry mechanics effectively for defensive options. 6. Adaptation and Mind Games: - Heihachi’s offense is based on reads and calculated risks; adapt to each matchup and opponent tendencies. - Master stance transitions for mixup potential, incorporating cancels and fakeouts to keep opponents guessing. - Remember that Heihachi rewards specialists who have deep matchup knowledge and execution skills. 7. Common Mistakes to Avoid: - Don’t rely on outdated strategies from previous Tekken games; newer mechanics have changed move properties. - Avoid using unsafe or predictable lows frequently, especially against skilled players. - Don’t ignore heat management; failing to activate it each round can put you at a disadvantage.

You are getting outplayed big time. All his moves track. All of them. I got hit by ff2 while I was 120 degrees to his side. F1+2 hit me while I was behind him. F4 clips to 90 degrees like Reina. All the strings with even just 2 hot realign everytime and hit 90 degrees. You gotta sidewalk the whole time or he will clip you. And don't push any buttons until he is done cuz he will hit you while backturned with a 180 turn.,I got killed by his dumb "ashi" DB2 low punch as he turned 180 degrees and switched our positions (what Paul does with the stupid shoulder attack that crushes everything and switches positions). And while in stance, his attacks are basically homing. So idk wtf you talking about. But that's just Tekken 8, only a few characters whiff even if your idle stance moves, like lee, dragunov or kazuya's 1,1.

I have a Question, between the Combos, I saw that you commit to use the heat dash into Omen, but there's another way to end the combo and save part of your heat? And what I mean is after you activate your heat, not use any of the consuming heat attacks for his utility. I say this because I see a lot of gameplay of Heihachi where the combos end either without heat bar or with 1/3 of your heat bar.

Lmao it’s not even that bad, I beat heihachis in instinct OFTEN. He’s not anywhere close to invincible or hell even as strong as some of the best characters when they’re in heat.
@Dominik-ru8on3 ай бұрын
It would be much better if heihachi would be more like Tekken 7. Its really sad. We have so much bullshit characters and they made Hei so much worse. Yeah, he has god mode damage, but i think Tekken 8 is all about god mode damage and thats so annoying. Everybody should be toned down and change Hei to his Tekken 7 playstyle. Look at Dragunov, million nerfs and strong as fuck, Tekken 8 is so bullshit at the moment and they are not able to find a good solution…

Im sorry, there's way too much cope surrounding this character. people who are playing him are desperate trying to call him mid tier because he's "stepable" (b4 is stepped in the opposite direction of all of his moves including ELECTRIC, hellsweep tracks) when this character can kill you with 2 interactions. Then he has a built in god mode. boys, I like him too. Heihachi goes hard. but stop the downplay, this character is disgusting.
@lanyon27163 ай бұрын
You do realize you almost need a god level execution to pull off a great amount of damage with heihachi, right? Hes always been like that. Heihachi being weak is just wrong for many people, he is the main villain after all. It would be awful if they just nerfed him like Leroy
@alessandroguglielmo7193 ай бұрын

@tekkenkeyboard65593 ай бұрын
Yeah that 2 interaction killings comes with years of execution training, even with that you'll not risk it against a strong opponent because it's risky and can cost you the match, unless a move is -20 or above, most people won't be able to punish it with an electric because it's too risky and hard
@peterchase22243 ай бұрын
Don't forget that UF2,1 is a basically homing fully hit conformable heat engager with half screen range and launches on heat dash. For some reason mishima boys aren't capable of just playing their character without feeling like they're better than everyone else.
@alexandermccalla50983 ай бұрын
Wave dashing only works against people who respect the game. Even at Tekken God, some people NEVER stop pressing buttons. I've found people that 100% WS 4 every time they get hit by db2. They it the following WC df2. Even on hit, some people never stop pressing buttons. You can see it in the replays. They completely expect to get carried by BS. All it takes is a jab for them to confirm some stupid heat related mechanic or do dumb damage. I find myself so lost in neutral with Hei. Big sad at times.

Why do you insist on using triple electric bnb, when double electric into hellsweep 1 has higher consistency, damage and wall carry? is it just your decision to be less efficient for the sake of one more flashy electric?

guys this character is busted. he may be hard to play, but he's pretty OP for it. Hei is definitely not better than the current best characters in the game, but he is definitely stronger than most of the roster. also his ultimate heihachi mode is very blatantly broken. if youre struggling to rank up it's not because Heihachi is weak it's because you're playing him wrong. that's just the truth. Heihachi is really good.

Have you ever heard about Hitchens's razor?
@sighyawn63783 ай бұрын
@@metsu-satsu4280 i know you think youre so super smart for bringing that up, but there is plenty of evidence. the ultimate heihachi mode speaks for itself. clear as day DLC character power creep. not to mention b4 is an insanely powerful move. uf2 1 being the most easily hit confirmable heat engager ever. butt loads of damage etc etc. the only people who wont admit that heihachi is cracked are people with severe skill issues.
@metsu-satsu42803 ай бұрын
@@sighyawn6378 Don't "etc." me. Elaborate on what, in your opinion, makes these moves OP. Besides, many of them were already addressed in the video, and I don't see a clear refute to that from you yet.
@sighyawn63783 ай бұрын
@@metsu-satsu4280 we can measure the strength of an attack by looking at the risk reward. b4 is almost identical to the fahk safe mid launcher that, everyone agreed at the time, was op. just because heihachi's b4 recovers slow on whiff doesnt make it that much less busted. safe, fast, mid launcher that nets like 80+ damage for minimal risk. just dont whiff it. it tracks weak side so like just dont use it at random and its easily one of the best launchers in the game. and the ultimate heihachi mode allows you to basically rob an entire round because of the buffs it provides. little to no room for counterplay on the opponent's part. for ultimate hei... ff3 being a + on block mid launcher that forces crouch is absolutely wack, opponent can do nothing but hold it. non stagger hellsweep removes one of the characters key weaknesses. 1+2 wins the round in 3 hits and its like what 11 or 12 frame punish? ultimate heihachi is like T7 akuma just deleting your entire health bar for the slightest mistake. of course mainman will defend the balance of the mishima character he's incredibly biased.

When other characters are doing crazy 50/50 on you its coin flip but when mishima characters are doing that is educated guess. Thats mishima players logic.
@tongpoo89853 ай бұрын
You just need to lab it if you think mishima 5050 is actually a 5050.
@piotr44013 ай бұрын
@@tongpoo8985 I think you didnt get my point. Just wanted to point the mishima players hipocrisy when talking about Mishima tools and other characters tools. Pretty much all 50/50 in this game is "educated guess" (EVEN if its much easier to apply). Yet mishima player will always find opportunity to downplay their characters. I think when they are not playing tekken they are sniffing their own farts. Not saying that mishimas are OP or something just taking jab at mishimas player base.
@tongpoo89853 ай бұрын
@@piotr4401 my point was that some 50-50s are actual coinflips, and some are more like 25-25-30-10-10s, because the opponent has other options than just to high or low block. Like Kazuya's 5050, both main options can be stepped to the left easily, but Kazuya also has situation-dependent options to cover SSL with various levels of risk and reward. The Kazuya "5050" is a misnomer as it's an extremely depth-rich scenario with a huge amount of subtle mind-games available for both sides, so subtle that oftentimes only the 2 people playing the match can fully grasp what's going on and all the little micro-adjustments. I get what you're saying, it is still ultimately a guessing game. No matter how good of a read you have on someone's tendencies, they could always do something you don't expect. I just think people take the term 50-50 too literally. There's a massive difference between the situation after Kazuya lands a 112 and when Alisa is chainsawing you in the teeth and legs.
@piotr44013 ай бұрын
@@tongpoo8985 In first paragraph you just described how normal tekken game looks like. I know how kazuyas 50/50 works. There is far more interaction in normal game between players then when kazuya is waving in your face. Kazuya players talk a lot about how they hate force 50/50 and in same time they character is build around forcing 50/50. I would rather eat Alisa chainsaw mixup then eat kazuya vortex but thats me. (although I hate that b***) Im not hating on Kazuya as character just not buying Kazuya players elitism.
