The "How to beat every character" series sounds like the best thing ever. I'm a new player in Tekken 8 and it takes a lot of time to learn matchups ,especially hard with busy schedule. I will say though that we need mostly general advice like SWL Kazuya and Key Moves for everyone. It really has a very big potential as a series though.

I like most of mainman's YT videos, but he's such a childish guy for someone nearing his 40s. 90% of his "jokes" is about c0ck (haha gay funny), calling people he doesn't like virgin, loser, etc. and his disdain for "waifu" characters just reminds me of a teenager coping with his insecurities. lol He's also very ignorant about characters that's not Kazuya, Bryan, or Paul but pretends to be an expert at the game and he has a history of calling characters BS or carried purely out of salt when outplayed by strangers in ranked.

his whiff punishing is top tier punishment as well poking works if you use 1 instead of 1,1 like before and sidestep after your -5 moves that used to be -2
@poca2481Ай бұрын
imo yes, his rushdown tools got nerfed and his df1 and f3 got fucked to the ground, but his defense and punishment got so much better
@tekkn_579Ай бұрын
@@poca2481as long as you connect with your opponent on hit with his, df1, df1,1 and 1, you can still run that same old pressure, you’ve just gotta connect. His character design is still cold I can’t lie, watching knee play heihachi lol
@requiemxd2982Ай бұрын
@@NoobyNick0710 tbh the only poke string he has that gives generous frames on block is 1 b2, and with the threat of 1 b2 2 it gives you mental frames to play with 1 b2 into stance. other than that his poking is garbage, most mid strings giving up your turn or being unsafe. id even say its hard to keep pressuring after df1 alone, despite having a safe mid followup. imo hes way more about whiff punish and block punishment and keepout electrics, his old rushdown style doesnt work anymore
