As a born and bred West Virginian who has heard 'Country Roads' all of my life, this is definitely the most beautiful and spine tingling versions I've ever heard. I've been to the gorgeous mountains of Switzerland and it was just like being at home.

Not only that, it sure awful looks like he's actually in West Virginia or some part of the Appalachian Mountains here in the Eastern US. I'm not certain he is, but the scenery looks exactly like what you'd see in the Appalachian and Blue Ridge/Smoky Mountains in West Virginia, Virginia, or North Carolina, where I'm from, a part of the country with a deep Scots-Irish heritage. They emigrated from their Highlands and found our Appalachian (APPLE-at-chun, NOT APP-uh-lay-shin) Mountains similar to where they came from in Scotland and Ireland. An unbelievably beautiful area of the country that truly is almost heaven, we've been blessed by God to live in such gorgeous country. I hope someday you can make it to America and visit the Appalachian mountain region, more beautiful scenery and more lovely people you'll never find, and the food? You won't want to leave.
