Превосходные пьесы,задуманные и прекрасно выполненные как единый цикл,о чём свидетельствует тональный план h -A - D - A - H. О стиле: да, близок Шуману и Брамсу,но нигде не тождествен с ними. Для меня - открытие. Спасибо!

I hear a distinct influence of Schumann and especially Brahms though very original...extremely delightful!

Herzogenberg was a close friend of Brahms and admired him very much, asked for critics. For Brahms it was a great problem not no blame him with honest critics
