Harry isn't William & both lads lost their mum that day,but both has dealt with it differently. The public see snippets yet act as they know them personally! They read something and take to the Internet to cast rubbish they know nothing about. The only people that truly knows what has and is going on is the family in question. The public would do best not responding to venomous lies from the press,that have been proven to tell lies! Let the family sort it out between them.

We tend to overlook how difficult William's childhood was, though I do remember thinking that he seemed to be very shy in comparison to Harry and thought that he might find the burden of being the heir difficult, but Catherine has supported him and been at his side when he has needed her throughout an even more difficult period of his life.

It is sad that people who are leveled headed like William always get overlooked, they were both under the brutal spotlight all their lives and lost their mother, but no one saw William was suffering as badly as Harry and praise his exceptional capability to cope with his life! Spectators always focus on whomever makes the loudest noise in public!

lol, no. William isn't level headed, he's a bully who is always in a rage. He's controlling and selfish and no, he didn't have the same situation as Harry. William as always the spoiled one, the one who was told he was special and he would be King. He got the bigger bedroom while they stuck Harry in what amounted to a broom closet. William literally got more food than Harry, the bigger portion always went to William. They stuck Harry in boarding school the week after Diana died, and isolated him there, with Charles only seeing him two times in 9 months. Once at Christmas and once when he used Harry for a photo op to make himself look like a good father, when he was the opposite. Harry was forbidden to leave school on weekends, while William got to spend an hour every Sunday with the Queen and Charles. This went on for years, until Harry graduated. William always got special treatment and Harry was an afterthought.. They stuck him in basement apartments while William got a huge, sunny flat at Kensington Palace. Harry is a saint for surviving all that and not being bitter. One Christmas at Sandringham, Charles had invited so many people, there was no bedroom for Harry so they literally stuck him in the servant's quarters. That's just a twin bed and a wardrobe. That's how little they thought of him. He was right to escape that kind of indentured servitude.

I don’t understand the fascination with Harry being the spare, and being overlooked. He isn’t the first and he won’t be the last. Anne was overlooked once Andrew was born, now Harry is overlooked now that George, Charlotte and Luis are in the picture. This is how it goes with the spare…as more are born in the line, they become lesser.

I think Harry's behavior is rooted in the fact that his mom died at twelve years old. It stunted his emotional and mental growth. Harry has Peter Pan syndrome, and I think Meghan was able to use Harry's mental health issues to take advantage him to get her way. As for the newspapers Harry likes to use the papers when it's good for him(and Meghan). However, when the the media criticizes Harry he plays the poor me card. Harry has complained about being in the media spotlight, but has complained that when George becomes of age Harry won't be in the spotlight because of indifference.

I CANNOT IMAGINE how DIFFICULT it MUST'VE been on those 2 @ that time. And to make it that much worse they couldn't grieve like the children they were. Instead they had to hold it together & walk behind her while the ENTIRE WORLD watched on T.V. (myself included) & thousands in person. I know they weren't forced to walk behind Dianas coffin & the boys felt it was their last way to honour their Mother but I still felt so bad for them. William has grown into such an incredible & fantastic MAN HUSBAND & FATHER & is doing an incredible job raising his children. He couldnt have chosen a better wife than Catherine. Comments like this are always amusing because they're so wrong. William tormented Diana when she was alive by refusing to take her phone calls. He blamed her for the divorce event tho it was Charles and Camilla who were behind it. Diana didn't want to get divorced, she said she was fine with Charles living with Camilla at Highgrove and leave her alone in Kensington Palace with the boys, but Camilla wanted to get married so they forced Diana out. But William didn't care, he told her if she's just kept her mouth shut and never did that TV interview, they wouldn't be divorced. He ignored the fact that Charles also did an interview where he admitted cheating with Camilla. He took his father's side anyway and broke Diana's heart by refusing her calls. He was having a temper fit the day she died and refused to talk to her when she called from Paris. He disapproved of her dating Dodi, probably parroting his father's views. He also called her "paranoid," again repeating Charles' gaslighting. William is horrible. Harry never treated her like that. He was 100% on her side.

lol, the women William wanted to marry, Jecca and Lily, both turned him down. He got stuck marrying Kate because she had her eye on the crown. He began cheating on her when she was pregnant with George and he would rather be with his mistress, Rose Hanbury, than with Kate. He hasn't lived with Kate for the past year, he's at Kensington Palace and she's in Windsor with the kids. They're leading separate lives. In fact, he hasn't seen her since July 6th and it's September 7 now. They're both going to France this weekend, but they're going separately and going to different soccer matches. What kind of happily married couple does that? He's just like Charles, cheating on Diana. Kate better watch it or he will divorce her as well. Harry is the only one with a happy marriage. He actually loves his wife, he wasn't forced to get married to produce an heir and a spare the way William was.

William maintains a facade, and the Royal machinery has been concealing his antics for years. There have been rumours of affairs, he literally took out an injunction to stop UK papers from publishing the stories. Several journalists have repeatedly said that his antics are concealed. He has a notorious short temper and is known to rage at his father, wife, staff and friends. Jobson, Junior, Robert Lacey have written about it. Jobson said Camilla was horrified at his fits of rage. He rails at Kate, and she has learnt to fight back. They throw things at each other. Harry confirmed everything when he revealed that William physically attacked him. They seem to have a very High staff turnover rate. Kate has had 5 private secretaries in 5 years (Google it). Their children's behaviour is concerning. George looks petrified, Charlotte is too bossy and Louis' behaviour at the Jubilee was atrocious.

I agree. As any modern royal, he was raised completely equally to William. William was two years older, of course he was a few steps ahead in life and some people confuse that with being treated differently but I don't think that was ever the case. Their parents made sure they were treated equally, never divided them, they were hands-on parents. While William had to carry the burden of being a future king and therefore not having the chance to choose a different career or lifepath, the world was Harry's oyster. He was in the incredible position of having been raised equally to a future king, given the same education, hobbies, privileges but also having the choice to be absolutely anything he'd wanted to be. Astronaut? Surgeon? Musician? Veterinarian? He just had to point at something and he would've got the best education, private tutors, books, absolutely anything to help him achieve his goals. And what did he choose in the end? The victim, the spare. Because that's the only thing he doesn't have to do ANY work for, he can jut sit on his pile of inherited money and whine, blame, trash others because he's a victim, he's the spare. Like we should feel sorry for the entitled man who even found ribbon cutting and shaking hands so exhausting that he and his wife had to quit.

@@fanni24 I wasn’t aware working royals could have another occupation. Harry and Meghan wouldn’t have had access to their own choices as working royals, right? Princess Ann didn’t want that life for her children, and it seems all are fine with it.
@fanni24
@fanni24 Жыл бұрын
@@michelejensen1527 As working royals they can't have regular occupations because they're technically public servants, paid by the country, they have diplomatic roles and represent the head of state (the king) which is a full-time job in other countries as well. They also publicise British charities as patrons so more people are aware of them and donate to them. So they technically have a full-time occupation if they go down the working royal route that Harry and Meghan willingly chose when they got married. The late Queen offered them the choice of having no royal titles (Harry would still stay Prince just like Princess Anne but his wife wouldn't get a title just like Anne's husband didn't either), no state wedding paid by taxpayer money, no travels and trips around the world as representatives of the British Monarchy, OR the working royal life with a dukedom, titles, a public wedding, charities/patronages given to them according to their personal interests (Meghan was made patron of the Royal Theatre or something along those lines), royal trips around the world and of course a life-long duty. IMO Harry and Meghan only chose the working royal life to elevate their public image, settle into the royalty status, then break out of it, move to the US and make big money with big companies and business endeavors. But it's of course a huge conflict of interest as they can't use taxpayer money to spend on themselves but also venture out and use their gifted royal titles (which they should use to be patrons of small British charities and causes important to the UK) to get millions of dollars from lucrative business deals that only pay them because they can exploit their royal titles in the US through Netflix, Hollywood, etc.

@@pamfendlason3817 NO, not if those relationships are involved in TREASON! Harry is ONLY a half-brother to William and that CORD was SEVERED when Harry (and MM) tried to DESTROY William (so Harry could be King after Charles). NOTE: In a Monarchy, TREASON is treated just like Attempted Murder BECAUSE the goals are the same. TOTAL DESTRUCTION OF THE RIGHTFUL HEIR! Your notion of a “reconciliation” due to “family” is TOTALLY MISGUIDED and would never be agreed to by ANY rightful heir. Also, it’s TOO LATE! The agencies (MI-5, MI-6, Scotland Yard and Palace Security are ALL ON GUARD to make certain that Harry NEVER again enters a Royal residence. And the current Monarch cannot call them off sicne that looks like collusion. (They can’t even have food or drink at any area that plans on welcoming Harry.) No real wife (like Catherine) would NEVER agree to “reconcile” with a MONSTER like HARRY who HATES with the degree of hatred that would DESTROY his half-brother and children (who are ALL rightful heirs). What loving wife would invite a serpent to dine at her table? Blood may be physically thicker than water, but that’s all. Remember, the FIRST murder in the Bible was that of Fratricide! G-d had a realistic notion of brothers. Remember, the office of “Prince of Wales” was created to STOP the heir from killing his father (so the heir could inherit on his own timetable).

I think they’re both perfect representation of how different siblings are. But we have to remember that throughout history, this was the way of it. The first born son was literally prepped and educated to be King because after he has children, the succession then goes directly down his line. Harry is not a spare, he’s just his brother. Now, UNLESS, something happens, god forbid, to one of William’s 3 children, Harry is now like 5th or 7th to the throne. I hate that idea of him being the “spare.” It’s just not the case. The only time the brother is the “spare,” is really only during their younger years before they get married and have children of their own. In extreme cases of death down that whole line, that’s when we get brothers becoming king, or if they’ve usurped the throne like Richard, or through abdication like their great uncle had done. But nowadays truly extraordinary circumstances must occur before Harry is in line to be King. Nobody called Andrew a spare so this concept of considering Harry that is a bizarre one for me.

A clear distinction between the relationship that is William & Catherine, compared to Harry & Meghan, is that Catherine has supported William in becoming the best version of himSelf, YEARS before the married... they were still in college as friends, when she encouraged him not to drop out & to pursue courses that felt good for him... they are major support systems to/for each other, which proves the stability & security of not only their marriage but the example they are setting, including in how they raise their kids. With Harry & Meghan, she feeds his insecurities, his traumas, his fears... it's a trauma bond. 2 people using each other for validation... & I was initially very supportive of them, as many were around the globe! Their wedding was beautiful, & people lined the streets outside the church to be in support, for miles down the road even to cheer them on! So the fact that they have the nerve to keep using racism projected on the whole, is just mindblowing to me! Meghan loves looking like a victim & because of what Harry witnessed with his mother, his undealt with trauma is primed to be triggered by a woman that he loves even REMOTELY being the focus of scrutiny... THAT'S the rub with what makes their relationship so toxic & part of why the brothers' relationship has been strained so much. It's sad, but this is what narcs do; they try to separate you from the people who love & care for you the most. The ones that they can tell you have a meaningful bond with, so that they can remain your focus & get as much as your attention as possible. If anyone questions obvious codependency or red flags, then the narc will play a victim card to win over their supply. I think its a blessing for the British kingdom, that William is next in line, because he & Catherine will do an amazing job,

Harry has a problem with tabloid press. A lot of stars in Hollywood have been traumatized by tabloid press. He is not cashing in on his mom. His mom’s last moments exist because of the tabloid media in his eyes. He has said it a million times, he has a phobia of the tabloid press and might even hates them. This has influenced his relationship with his family members and made indirectly him and his brother fight and forced him to flee England making him an outcast in his own family.

Because of the way the monarchy is structured, I think it is what it is. You can say "what if" all day long but it doesn't change the fact that life has no guarantees. It's heartbreaking that they both lost their mother at such a young age, which could have caused Harry to rebel, possibly. And now he's totally distanced himself as far as possible from the royal family. His father never loved Diana, it was all just a mess. But the royals will continue on regardless of what happens, and protect their monarchy as they always have.

However I had a feeling she wouldn't be good for Harry more than anything do the cultural differences I've seen that in my own family. The life of the heir vs the life of the spare are very different, and in my opinion it doesn't need to be a contest about who has it worse because there really is no way to measure it. No two people walk the same path even if they grow up in the same environment. I can't help but to wonder why everyone has apparently forgotten that the Queen herself had a very similar relationship with her own sister. She and Princess Margaret were very close as children but had a very tumultuous relationship as adults due to many of the same issues that William and Harry have.

@a.madison9625
@a.madison9625 Жыл бұрын
There are millions of ways to measure it. William has never had it as hard as Harry. William is the heir, he has always been protected from birth, Harry just the opposite. They began throwing Harry under the bus to cover up for William's misdeeds when Harry was only a child, and he was never able to defend himself, he always had to be the scapegoat for William. Here's an example. Camilla's son is a cocaine addict. You can Google it, he's been to rehab. He was at University with William and he was William's drug dealer. Every bad thing you think Harry has done, William did them 2 years earlier but it was covered up, so you never heard about it. So when William got caught with drugs, Charles and Camilla called an editor at the Daily Mail, and told them that Harry had been caught with weed, and he had to go to rehab. That wasn't true in the slightest, they simply made it up so the papers would report on that and leave William alone. So imagine you're Harry, you're 14 years old and you wake up one day and the front page of the Daily Mail says: DRUG ADDICT HARRY IS IN REHAB. Now, you're in your bedroom and you know you haven't been caught and you're not in rehab. You know your brother and Tom were caught with drugs and nothing was going to happen to them. But what do you do? You call your dad and ask him to call the papers and tell them you're not in rehab. And your dad says, "Just ignore it darling boy, don't pay attention to it" Of course you don't understand at the time that your dad and Camilla concocted the story in order to protect William but eventually you figure it out and you're still not allowed to say anyth9ing. Then multiply that by 10,000 times that it happens again. That was Harry's life. And imagine that William knows exactly what you're going through and he doesn't care. In fact, he tells you that's your role in life, to cover up for all his messes. Harry held back in Spare, he could have told much worse things. I'm glad he escaped. No one deserves to be treated like that.

Interesting how the Royal Biographer Penny Junor talks about Diana's sons walking behind her coffin, saying they walked with their father, their grandfather and Charles Spencer instead of categorically stating 'their maternal uncle Charles Spencer' or something to that effect. It is like a deliberate yet very very subtle way of distancing the two boys from their maternal relatives and by default throwing light on how their Father and Grandfather were doing the decent thing of walking behind the coffin. 20 min into this documentary and Penny Junor's tone, facial expressions, choice of words, sentence formations, etc set a theme of 'that incompetent mother and poor William'. While not a word of the boys' father and how he really was the main and biggest reason for a lot of that family going up in flames. It seems like a very effective documentary to lure people into adopting a certain mindset for and against certain people in the UK Royalty. If one is not observant enough - they'll get pulled in and quickly lose any sense of objectivity. Frankly speaking, a very public cheater and adulterer is the UK's new Monarch. When that itself is acceptable, anything else is paltry.
@fanni24
@fanni24 Жыл бұрын
Walking behind the coffin wasn't about the boys, it was a tribute to Diana and it was supposed to be about her. Charles Spencer wasn't an uncle to her, he was her brother but it was more appropriate to actually name him and also highlight that as a Spencer, he was close family to Diana, than just throw it out there that he was the boys' uncle or Diana's brother. He deserved to be called by his name. As for who caused more traumat to the boys or who didn't, Diana heavily burdened William with her marital struggles and even her affairs with other men. William was a young boy and shouldn't have been the subject to Diana's venting. She was insecure and relied on a 10ish year old boy who also happened to be her son. What healthy, emotionally mature mother does that? She should've gone to a therapist if she'd needed someone to talk about her problems to. I fear you're the one who's losing objectivity when you shame Charles for adultery but excuse Diana for the very same reason -- even worse, you simply fail to write about it as if it had never happened. She was an adulterer. I hope you can cope with that.

It is sad that Harry didn't realize how important his support was to William, also how many people LOVED Harry and his wild free spirit and he could have paved such a great life with the hand he was dealt and couldn't see it. I am sure William felt pressure and sometimes wished William had Harry's easy come, easy go because William was restrained by duties. It was a doubled sided coin for each and I wonder how things could have been different if they could have communicated better and Harry would listen and understand the roles. I guarantee if Harry would have stepped up like Anne has, Harry would still be as popular and loved by the people, He would have been so respected by standing next to William and his father but he chose a different path, that clearly has not worked out for him. I am in Texas and grew up with these 2, and it has been sad to watch this disconnect of the family. Titles and rank only go so far, but family tops all of that, at the end of the day, when the job of the day is done... you look to your family and I am positive William could have used his brother as someone to bounce ideas off of and just be "William" around Harry, ( I know he has Catherine, but you always need your trusted brother or a male mate that can understand strains and vent to on another level) but that has been ruined, William will never trust Harry again. Heartbreaking and as much as Harry prances around the USA, we can see it in his eyes... He has lost a piece of himself with his choices.

Diana was quite right to replace nanny Barnes if she was becoming too familiar with her boys. In my mind, having the boys cuddling in bed with the nanny was very inappropriate if that's what was happening, and overstepped the bounds of her employment. Penny Junor tries very hard to paint Diana in a negative light, even suggesting that Diana was "possessive" & had no right to be a mother to her children as she saw fit and proper.

I find it hard to agree. An infant deserves a close loving relationship with their caregiver, preferably a parent, but at least someone who is a regular in their day to day life
@fanni24
@fanni24 Жыл бұрын
Human interactions are incredibly important for young children in learning how to form relationships, bonds, connections. Diana was hardly burdened with a heavy workload, she didn't have a 9-5 job, she had royal engagements a few times a week but apart from that she could be with her boys. It was not the nanny's fault that the children formed a close bond with her instead of their mother because she wasn't around that much. Of course that's understandable in a way because Diana herself also came from a noble family where nannies raised children and spent most of their time with them so they were often closer than to their own mothers.
@arizonaskies6607
@arizonaskies6607 Жыл бұрын
😮@fanni24 On the contrary, in Diana's situation her mother wasn't with the children while growing up because custody was awarded to their father in a bitter divorce battle. The British courts customarily give custody to men who have aristocratic titles of nobility like Diana's father had. Her father was 8th Earl Spencer, which is the reason why Diana was titled Lady Diana Spencer prior to her marriage to Prince Charles. Her father, John Spencer, served as equerry to King George VI and to Queen Elizabeth II, so it's obvious that he was no doubt given preference over Diana's mother in the divorce. As for the attention Diana's sons received from their mother, I doubt that nannies could have possibly loved and cared for the boys as much as Diana did. She was well known for spending time with the boys as much as possible, especially on school breaks and holidays. If either of the boy's parents were cold & distant, I suspect it was Charles, not Diana.

Diana was jealous of anyone who took the love she wanted. It is documented that the way she got rid of Nanny Barnes really affected William. She was just gone from his life suddenly because of her jealousy.

I was a nanny and an au pair, the parents had no problem me being close to the children and on occasions cuddle. Children show their love to you that way, you don't reject their search to be close to you, be it physical or emotional. When they get older they are more independent and don't tend to hug you as much as a nanny.

Harry talks of rubbing Diana’s favourite hand cream on his man parts. That’s not talking about his mother that’s shattering her memory with a gleeful sneer on his face. That’s hate. Talking about a deceased parent growing up is usually of love. I bet your husband talks with love not hate.

I disagree that they boys grief was almost devalued by that of the nation . I think our understanding of losing a parent, and our grief played a huge part in understanding the grief of these two boys. But it is a shame that they were paraded to the public so soon to please the public. I think they should have been allowed that time to grieve in private. Most of us know grief due to losing our loved ones, and I for one wouldn’t want to grieve so publicly. Bless them 💕
