Hi, be careful, this module is POWER amplifier, this means only speakers can be connected. I recommend the XY-BT-MINI stereo receiver with really good quality low level output.

Hi, thanks for watching. These small class D amplifiers usually have this hissing noise, when music is stopped, then after a few seconds it turns off the output, so it stops. This can't be solved on this board,you must buy a better board.

Hi, unfortunately not. Those what you've seen in my videos were ordered also from Aliexpress from the WorldChips store and when I'm lucky I get with the bip sounds and not with the Chinese woman announcer. I could find a page where the receiver ic, JieLi AC6905 (which this board also has) is explained well, but it is not a complete guide, just a beginning on how to program these ICs. Hi, yes it has a hum in idle, but when I start to play music the noise stops or gets attenuated. What kind of power supply do you use? Using a LiIon battery with protection circuit can help.

You can try to put between the output of the board and the speaker an LC lowpass filter (coil and capacitor). If that does not help, probably you have a faulty module. You can watch my other video: Connecting PAM8403 to XY-BT-MINI where I do a lot of troubleshootings.

@@HelectronicsI am using regular smartphone 5v 1amp supply. It seems to me that there is some kind of distortion in low frequency when I cross 70% of the volume in dw-ct14. You should give a try to MH-M38 board, it comes in black colour. M38 board goes maximum up to 50-60 percent of the volume but still it beats dw-ct14 in terms of volume and clean sound.

Hi, I won't recommend to do that, the output is a PWM signal, which can harm your power amplifier. This circuit is designed to be connected directly to speakers. If you have at least four 8 ohm speakers then it is better, you just connect two in parallel per channel, which results 4 ohm impedance per channel.

Tomorrow I will measure it if the output voltage at Bat connector does not exceed 4.2 volts. Theoretically yes, you can connect it but I would recommend using a dedicated charging board. This board has no built in indicator, it has a safety shut down feature against over discharge of the battery. As I said in the video I do recommend to use protection circuit with the Li-Ion battery. You can connect charge indicator module separately to it, or you can find charge protection and management circuit with charging indication.

The capacitor polarity is not relevant for an AC signal. You do not need the LC filter either. The high frequencies are filtered out by the speaker itself. Almost all class D amps operate this way.

The important fact is that when you listen to a voice recorded, the noise supression is kicking in and the amplifier is turning off and on, loosing sometimes some words from the recording when the amplifier is turning on again, thanks to that stupid function - noise cancelation.

4 speaker in parallel? Per channel? That's not a good idea. You should connect two-two in series per channel. So, on one channel/output two 4 ohm speakers in series will result an 8 ohm load, which is good for the board.

I've measured today, it can go around 100 Hz and after that slowly drops, so this circuit is not the best for low frequencies.

You don't need voltage booster, it should work fine with the 3.7 volts, but if you still want to use booster, you will have to sacrifice around 10% of battery charge on efficiency losses, also try not to exceed the 5 volts too much.

I didn't notice hiss, but probably on a hifi speaker it can be heard. At 2:52 the board is working and it is connected to the phone but no music is played, still you can see some spikes, so there is a noise present, but probably my speaker (which is more like a subwoofer) didn't output this noise.

I assume you think to add a potentiometer to the output, but it would not work, the potentiometer would burn out. You have to control the volume from the phone or to use XY_BT bluetooth receiver module with PAM4803 dual amplifier circuit and use the potentiometer between them. I think there is a way to add volume buttons to this circuit, but I'm not sure about that. Is the battery charged fully, using a BMS charger? Also you should try to connect bigger speakers that can handle more power, these 5w speakers should handle it theoretically but give a try with bigger speakers.

Sorry but I don't remember, this video was made a few years ago. I do remember that the lower frequency range is poor and the bass is not so good.
