Yes, you are right about Paul's on the River. It's been there for years before I was a Bud Man up there. I trout fished under that bridge as a pre-teen thru high school and into college. I'm 70 years old now.. And still LOVE that River~~! BTW, I caught a 14 inch Trout right under the old bridge when I was 14 years old .

Amazing how Helen, Ga has changed since the late 1970/early 1980;s. I was the Budweiser salesman during those years. Unbelievable how MONEY Hungary people ruined such a nice little Alpine Village into money grubbing metropolis! Unforgivable !!

Good memories in Helen, was our first family trip out of the state of Florida with 7 month old daughter. I love that area the north Georgia, NC and Tennessee area is really great. Place is so dead looking for the summer.

Very nice town. We don't have the tall trees like in Georgia plus I'm in South Texas which doesn't have any hills. Once again it must be strange to be walking on sidewalks instead of walking in the street. That river has clean water too.

See if you can get ahold of some Yuengling Premium. For some reason it's the traditional lager that caught on and is featured in their advertising and is available at most bars. You might have to go to a distributor to find it. I prefer it to the traditional lager.
