I always love how instantly Rachel's voice changes at 11:43 from the soft voice in which she speaks to Helen to the hard voice she uses on Amy. The actress who plays her is so good!!

I agree honestly, secondary school teachers that can’t handle teenagers are better working at a primary school not a secondary school because 3-11 year olds would be easier to handle if a teacher can’t control a class of rowdy teenagers.

Also, she’s stronger than she thinks she is. The fact that she still tried to protect Amy by saying it wasn’t her fault and taking responsibility after how horrid Amy was to her, that’s such an honourable thing to do.

As sad as Helen’s storyline was it does come as a harsh lesson that just because you like something and want to go for it doesn’t mean it’s the right field for you. That being said, she deffo drew the short straw by starting at Waterloo. Maybe she would’ve done better in a more peaceful school?

Hopewell may have been annoying but she didn't deserve the treatment she recieved from Amy and later Max also. Helen literally ended up being the scapegoat of Max's antics

Have they all forgotten that Amy was a John Fosters kid? Most of the problems during the merger were caused by ex John Fosters pupils.

This is sad teachers are literally there to educate you bring you the power of knowledge and more importantly to help you respect them! Sure I didn't get along with all of mine but that didn't give me a right to give them a hard time even though I didn't see eye to eye they were still there for me.

I’m American so I’ve never seen this show. I clicked, because I recognized Vinette Robinson from Sherlock. I hope they had her character coming back for career day w/ a new high paying job.
