@@viqneuman.5111 American evening talk shows are usually taped in the afternoon and broadcasted on the same night. but i think The Graham Norton Show is taped at night but broadcasted on the night after. i remember when the audience surprised Jen Aniston with the Friends clap, Graham said that they'd been rehearsing since 5 (PM).

@Naomi Arram no, i get *your* point about serving alcohol on the show to help the guest relax a bit. i was simply pointing out to Darryl regarding Celebs Day Drinking in relation to your Graham Norton drinking vibe. Graham Norton is taped at night, so the guests can drink to their hearts content (in fact, Bill Murray got drunk on that show). American evening talk shows, however, are taped during the day. you can get away with day drinking sometimes for very late shows like Corden, Colbert, Conan (which will end this week), but to do it regularly on a daily basis is going to be tough to get past the FCC. sorry if *my* previous point wasn't clear enough for you.

Twister was one of the first movies I remembered loving as a child. It came out when I was 4. My Mom loved it, and loved Helen Hunt, and I grew up watching all her movies, and I can't even count the amount of times I've watched Twister. I currently have an original theater movie poster of it from when it was released, and it hangs on my bedroom wall. It will forever carry wonderful memories for me, and so will Helen! I love her so much!

I started to love Bill Paxton thx to this movie, his performance in it, in Titanic, in Apollo 13 etc and I was really sad to hear he passed away not so long ago. I'm 31 now, and also like Helen Hunt a lot ;)

@@Feanor026 Same! A piece of my childhood felt lost when he passed. Titanic is also on of my all-time favorite movies. It's amazing how these kinds of movies can shape your future, especially seeing them at a young age. I love how my parents never tried to keep things from me, and let me watch what I wanted....for the most part. I feel like it matured me quite a bit, and I still hold such a soft spot for a lot of these actors who rose to fame in the 90's. But Bill will always hold special meaning to me as well.

Twister is my favourite movie. I don’t even remember how many times I’ve watched it. Shortly after that movie came out I found myself in my backyard holding onto my patio furniture as an EF1 sideswiped me. All I could think of at the time when the debris was hitting me was “oh my god… this is just like the first tornado in the movie”!
