Lady Helen Shapiro has a very beautiful voice, I listen to her songs every day. I love her.

Just “discovered” her . I was and still am a big fan of the British invasion groups but had never heard of her. She has such a great, appealing voice.

One of the best female voices to come out of England, up there with Dusty & Amy. Bit of a shame she was considered too much Pop when the sixties really arrived with the Beatles & Stones and the teen idols suddenly became out dated (Dion - the Wanderer - Dimucci knows all about that). Otherwise she might have had a career to match.

Fun fact: When my (Spanish) mother was in London studying English and working, they stopped her on the street to ask for autographs and take pictures with her because they confused her with Helen Shapiro. They were also of a similar age. When young, she was so much like her that they looked like 100% twin sisters! In fact my mother has a portrait from those same years that is almost identical to the cover of several of Helen's albums. Also my mother had the same hairstyle (because it was a fashion at that time) and she had a very similar jacket, so the confusion was total! Really, they were like two drops of water! 😂

I think it's great she found Jesus. She 's not pushing her faith down anyone's throat-just explaining her journey, Why are atheists so negative? We will find out soon enough who is right. Mrs. Judd is a brilliant talent and should be respected.

I find the comments here mocking her for her religion a bit odd. Why does it bother people? What possible difference does it make? You either like her singing / music or you don't. Didn't seem to make a difference to Cliff Richard's career. Oh, and there's a comment below about 'believing in a fictional character' - Christians believe Jesus was the son of god and was resurrected, etc, Atheists obviously don't. But that Jesus Christ existed is not in dispute - he did - that isn't religion, it's history.

Jesus is a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence. The god of this world hath blinded the minds of them who don't believe, lest the gospel of Christ, should be presented unto them. There is no one like Christ Jesus.

They's a feller lives next to me. Nobody knows his real name. Evah body calls him Weasel. He's always in some kind of pickle with the law. They's not a month, and probably not 2 weeks, what go by that the law ain't at Weasel's house. The thang about Weasel, beyond all the law breakin', is that he is OB sessed with this Helen Shapiro. He's got gret big posters of her up all over his walls. He's drawed obscene thangs on them posters. You don't see Weasel what he don't brang up this Helen. Says he's married to her. It's a odd thang.

The virgin bit is mistranslation of the Hebrew. Virgin' on the rediculous! If christianity makes Helen feel better, gey gezunde hay, but it is for other nations to know something of Hashem. It is a pastiche of Torah observance, not a fulfillment of it. I used to go to her "messianic fellowship" until I began to learn to read Hebrew and read the Hebrew bible in context. No christian could answer my questions including Helen. Lovely person, but the christian religion is inspired by but not fulfillment of Torah Judaism which Jesus and his disciples followed. Paul came along and changed the good news from our Father to one of His sons! So he went against Jesus' words and quotes from Oral Torah to keep all the instructions/Torah and love others and self dont do to others what you wouldnt want done to you, the rest is commentary, go and LEARN it. No man can die for another man's sins, the Torah is not beyond our ability to keep but we can grow to keep it. Not a quick fix believe in jesus but learn how to live, each according to one's ability. Pray to the Father, not one of His sons.

I know what you mean, @Rob Main. The clip was going-along pretty good, and then there was the part about the Beatles... but then the plot-line suddenly shifted into that born-again thing, and then the cabin pressure started dropping real fast. Yet at the end they were able to squeak out some sort of come-from-behind win... by connecting the dots toward a plausible second way of viewing the lyrics. Oh well, the world is full of paradoxes and mysteries. The Dutch culture has more of an anything-goes quality.... which the widespread bible thumpers over here in the USA will instantly condemn at any opportunity. The fundamentalists like Roy Moore... they Love to condemn --> kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5XOoqOmmbWZhrs (Scala & Kolacny Brothers - Sweet Dreams are made of this - Eurythmics). What little i Do know is that.... this series from @Top 2000 a gogo is Always must-see worth watching.
