That's my home area. I remember when there was no bridge there, we crossed the river on a ferry ! Had a place just south of the bridge on the bank that we would take the girls to and watch the submarine races ! 😉 Sometimes the tow boats would hit us with that dam bright spotlight and mess up the fun ! 😩😊 Thanks for sharing. 👍

It (a buoy) is still stuck somewhere just below the water. The paint on the buoys are radioactive. Why do you think they show up so fuzzy on the scope?, when the bridges show very thin lines?

Do you use "sensitive" on your swing meter? Can't remember is it's 90 or 30 on the D Heart

Helena - My Helena ghost is the deck school I attended back in 78.. Man it was hot and the "skeeters" were big during night sessions!!

I know this an old video, however that ain’t no radar ghost. It’s a high line globe that runs across the river . I’m on 6th issue and also fly aircraft. It’s for us dumb pilots to see the wires crossing so we don’t hit it.

That's cool. I was wondering why the ghost would appear and figured it had to be radar beams reflecting off something. Didn't think that high though

Correct. The actual high line is what was picked up, as the radar reflection showed it “chasing” the head of tow. I’ve noticed it’s no longer there. One mile ring works just as good.
