she made no mistake. So yes „flawless“ but I bet every single one of the choir background singers could do this song way better. Helene Fische never was and never will be a strong vocalist no matter how good the try to set her in the right scene. She is doing „Schlager“ in German Music. And thougj it is very successful, its not good and not sophisticated music. The reason why people react so mich in the comments is the song itself. So thanks Leonard Cohen!

I love Helena Fischer and her Ave Maria sung in German is too good for words. This is fantastic but ever so slightly oversung (sadly) and if you fancy an alternative then I really urge you to watch the Official Video of Jeff Buckley (R.I.P.) singing this song.
