As a Pole from Silesia who read Hussite Trilogy of Sapkowski I truly enjoy every minute of your videos. Cheers from Poland! P.S. Have you read Hussite Trylogy? Such a pity these books were never translated to english...

Thank you 🙂 Yes, I have read the Hussite Trilogy, but only once quite a long time ago, and unfortunately, I couldn't finish it because I had to return it to the library before I managed to read the third book. The old version of the Czech edition was sold out for a very long time and no new edition was planned. I think that it was only a few years ago when they finally reissued it, but I haven't gotten around to buying and finishing it yet. However, I saw that there is a Czech audiobook version of the entire trilogy, so I will probably try that soon.

Oh, I'd like to buy that castle in KCD. O.O I made tons of money by flower-plucking while exploring the landscape and selling potions (that's actually all I have been doing for months asides running from Kumans and Bandits). I'm not very far into the story, avoiding talking to people and taking on any tasks as well as I can, because I'm not good in fighting, but no flower in the whole area was safe from me, and I avoided spending anything unreasonable and sold everything I found (being high in flower-charms) and having turned into the local self-taught Dr. Paracelsus, I think I hoarded enough by now to buy me a castle. Flower-guy buying a flower-castle seems a perfect match to me.

Buying a castle for 8,000 gold coins is one of the most RPG things of all time. I was half expecting to hear that they also had to clear out the occupying bandits. Really good video. As a fat lazy American, I like when people do my tourism for me, although it would be nice to go to Prague and complain loudly about minor inconveniences.

I've visited Prague, I was stationed in Germany, and it was hard to complain about the minor inconveniences, I tried mind you. Enjoying a beer (or many) and seeing the city and the countryside is worth it.

Hey, I'm early this time! :D I haven't watched the video yet but I wanted to tell you that I really love your channel. I recently finished reading Krabat because you talked about the tale in one of your videos. I just find what you do with this channel so cool. I haven't seen anybody who does this kind of media/folklore/travel content the way you do. Thank you! :)

Yes, this channel is unique. It has such a nice, local atmosphere, of our Slavic culture. Similar to the first Witcher game.

Krabat was one of my childhood favourite fairytales ever. It is so gloomy and dark, even now I remember that feeling when you keep realising, who the Master IS. The feeling you'll never forget 🐦‍⬛

@FolkWalkCZ Have you seen this video essay? The author, an English-speaking person, did a COURSE IN MODERN HISTORY OF POLAND to understand the cultural code and the interpretative key to the Witcher. All this to put into a broader context the shallowing and distortion of the Witcher that the Netflix showrunners have done. He also used many sources, starting with the famous Polish magazine Fantastyka, where the Witcher debuted, and ending with scientific works on the Witcher, including Polish scientists. kzbin.info/www/bejne/kGiQqYuGrbONkLssi=pEzueMfvmGHivIsF
