Season 05, Episode 14: welcome to the first day of the best ski trip of the year so far with CMH heli-skiing at CMH Purcell! i flew into Calgary for a weekend up in Golden, BC with the CMH Purcell crew to highlight their one-day heli-skiing program. CMH Purcell guarantees 3,000m of vertical in a single day and there is no additional cost for extra vertical beyond that. Thumbs Up Speed Racer! I have had a very difficult time keeping up with you this season. But, heliskiing with CMH in British Columbia, Canada, all in! FWIW, I skied with CMH in February 1979 at the Bobbie Burns, they only had trailers then! No cell phones, no internet, no Go Pro, no "influencers." Total old school: skied Dynamic 215 GS race skis, the Bell Helicopter, one guide, snow, and the Canadian Rockies. It was fun, because skiing is fun! Oh, FYI a trip back then cost $1,500 and incidentals. I had to take out a loan against my teacher's contract, it was worth it!

So freaken cool...I heli skied in the early 90's ..Skiing was amazing, but taking a ride with just the pilot to get fuel, was the highlight of the trip.. Without passengers this ex vietnam vet flew tree top to the fuel dump.. insane
