Helical knitting made easy!

In this video I demonstrate how to use helical knitting to create jogless stripes.
It is a great way to blend two skeins together to avoid any obvious colour changes in handdyed variegated yarn or create neat stripes with no ridge on the back.

Very clear instructions, thank you! Looking to knit socks like this, can this be done on 3x1 rib? Or does it have to be all knit rounds.
