Love your ‘my favourite socks’ pattern, it was the first one I found when as a new knitter I wanted to knit socks, it brilliant so clear to follow. I have sent the link to it to my daughter in Germany who wants to learn to knit socks ❤️. I really enjoy you podcast , thank you 😊 x

I laughed so hard when you mentioned the “pasties”. I actually didn’t notice until you mentioned it.

Hello Kristen - love your dress “pasties” and all ... ... great job. You sew beautifully. I knitted several charity hats a few years ago using 3 colours and sometimes even 4 using the “ helixing “ knitting techniques. There are ways to carry the yarn along so you don’t see a jog or a pull. Lots of vids and tutorials on this. It’s a nice way to use half skeins of yarn that all of own!. Can’t wait to see your Shawl Knitting progress next time. Sending you positive vibes...

Kristen, I really love how you experiment with your channel and try new techniques. I started watching you several years ago. Seeing your skills grow with filming, editing and sound are some of the reasons I enjoy your podcast. Of course, I do stay for the crafty rabbit hole 🐇🧶♥️

I find it really funny that you mentioned the MDK helical knitting tutorial. I recently dyed my first skeins and immediately cast on a sweater. About halfway through the first skein I decided it was time to incorporate the next one. That is the tutorial I chose as well. Great minds think alike and great tutorials get used again and again! I do think the helical process is magic as well. So glad I didn't try any other methods.

I am working on helical socks right now! Chocolate brown and a variegated color with brown in the back ground. I knit the toes, heels and the cuffs in solid brown and the striping on the foot and leg. I love the look. I prefer using the Shadow Wrap Heel on my socks. I work toe up, 2@atime. Have not figured out how to knit both heels at the same time, but that’s ok. I love knitting socks!

Thank you so much for the helical tips! I just started the Purl Soho Tiny Stripes baby sweater, which is also 1 row stripes, and couldn't understand any of the written helical tutorials I'd seen. The ones you shared really helped me unlock the mystery!

Helical knitting makes sweater knitting easier. I can rotate between skeins. The BOR changes by ~3 stitches every round. I watched a great tutorial by babbles travels years ago and it was a game changer

Hi!!! What base Corgi are you using for the Pebble Beach shawl? 1 skein of each color?

Hi Lisa, I'm using her Isaac base. And yes! One skein per color :)

I currently have 2 projects on the needles using helical stripes... one with 6 strands the other with 12... I've also done helical stripes with lace and cables... harder to keep track or what pattern row you're on, but doable.

Thanks Anna! I have as well. But some with disabilities are having difficulty navigating to where you can switch to the classic look. I'm simply offering additional ways to participate in the MAL. :)

I think if you added a few motifs by cutting some out of leftover fabric. Place them around for a balanced look. Voila
