Helicopter Pilot Lesson Hour 3 (Robinson R22)

My third hour towards my PPL-H doing level turns, ascending and descending in some very windy conditions. Also my first attempt at hovering using all the controls.

Holy cow what were the ceilings at? Looked like you were almost in IMC at one point. Not bad at all for hour 3 and high gusting winds though.

CriticalAngle thanks for the comment. the ceiling was quite variable at best it was over 3000ft and at worst it was about 700ft which was when we were near IMC but we just came down below the cloud. it was an odd day of weather with really think fine rain which affected visibility which is why we ended up flying along the coast. thanks again for the comment.
