Boy some of these models are just incredible. The thing that really gets me is that even though choppers are obviously quite tricky to fly for real, people can fly models with a hand held controller!

theyre not too bad, you just really have to understand forces and the direction that you are trying to move in in order to position the chopper correctly, like if you wanna slow down, pitch up, collective down, and youll keep moving forward, but the air being pushed forward bc youre pitched up willl slow you down

Thank you Germany for helping keep our hobby alive around the world. RC helicopter hobby is rebounding here in the US with growing demand. RC helicopters are what got me into the hobby back in the mid 1980s. Born in the US AirForce I grew up surrounded by aviation that’s instilled the love of aviation as a driving force in my life since I was a tiny kid. I love this video and all others that show the advances our hobby and aviation in general has progressed. Keep flying and wow awesome achievement.

brought back basic training chopper load and quick lift off and sudden drop and unload. That was a trip. 1977. Great flying. I wish I was the pilot in that chopper. Awesome.

Great looking and flying model. Kinda looked like a dynamic rollover on takeoff except one of the skids weren’t touching to cause an accelerated rotation. At least you had enough altitude to recover. Great job,

Head quarters platoon had the uh-1 and cobra gun ships the crew spent most of their time patching holes with o. d. green duck-tape around the tail section trying to knock out the tail rotor macking it go out of control. LZ Radcliff, Pleiku vietnam.

I work on UH-1Y’s and I thought it was real for a minute... but certain things about this made me confused. Such as why are the pilots are wearing the “golf ball” HGU helmets and not the OTO’s, where are the crew chiefs? I even wondered why the ram air inlet is so high, or why the stinger is so short. But overall great camera work and nice flying.

It's a Bell UH 1 Iroquois, ( Huey ), not a Huey Bell. Bell is the name of the company that built the full size UH 1s. ( This is an RC model.) The official name is the Bell UH 1 Iroquois.. Huey is an unofficial name
