Looks like an ideal size pack for taking on a urban hike.

I'm getting ready to buy the Helikon Gen 3 ECWCS level 1 and 2 base layers from Military 1st. Most of the gear I've looked at by Helikon Tex is made really well.

I’m glad you’re keep doing small packs. I ended up going with the katara 16. Was using the Haley Strategic Flat Pack. I enjoy smaller packs for edc.

Nice little bag. I can see many places something like this would work with a larger kit. 👍🏻👍🏻

I think you represented this well for what it could be used for! Looks like a well made piece of kit.

It can be a bag you keep on your main pack as a detachable survival bag while surveying the surrounding area. It can be latched to a belt.

I like this kit bag, with its tons of organizational compartments...The Grey man approach to this is good for urbanite preppers... I checked out the site....they don't have it available in Canadian currency...my guess for this bag in CAD is $ 61.oo 😎👍💯 cheers

I use a Molle sling bag off of amazon for carrying around town. Just swing it around to the front to access without taking off... works amazing. Not great for heavy stuff as it will dig into shoulder over an entire day but for a couple lbs it’s fine. This one looks cool too. Even my wife started wearing one instead of a purse for a while to work. Lol. That’s a cool pack though here.
@kan-zee5 жыл бұрын
did you get a sore back from wearing it , daily?....I started getting aches, with a sling bag...I had to take a break from it, cause of the unbalanced weight on the shoulder and back..
@peter-radiantpipes28005 жыл бұрын
Kanzee no. I’ve had it for years. I keep edc stuff, water, sometimes food if I walk to store etc for some items but mostly light weight items. Flashlight, knife, mini first aid, sunglasses, water, lighter.... main area for whatever my son needs... strap is very wide so no problem. One I have is red rock outdoor rover sling. It’s too much of full of heavy stuff but I keep a grocery bag rubber banded up in it too for heavy items to carry if I end up getting items too big for it that I didn’t plan on. I do find myself pulling the sling forward keeping the pack higher up a lot. A habit I guess. I’m a really big guy and it feels like it hangs too low but I really like the easy access to things without taking off backpack straps etc .. for my needs, it works 90% of the time and otherwise a bag or backpack

Thanks. The colors are easy eye appeal, not attention getters. The bandana placed in the top compartment, wouldn't this save rm in lg compartment? The personal alarm could work for self defence or to keep animals like a dog at a distance, would it be better more easily accessible outside?

Just out of curiosity, who has ever used their multi tool. I carried one for years in a get home bag that was put to the test regularly and never used that particular tool once. That's a quarter pound I don't carry anymore.
@EverydayTacticalVids5 жыл бұрын
Interesting. If I have one on me and no other knife, I will use a multi-tool. Or for repairs.

EverydayTacticalVids One of my differences from most is the backpackers stove head and 4oz of fuel I carry. It's only 7oz total between the two. I use it mostly when it's raining, and making a fire is next to impossible. It can boil 2 cups of water in under 4 minutes, and can do it 25 times, give or take a couple. The hot grub and coffee or hot chocolate depending on age, can be a genuine morale booster. The boys have a love for MREs so they use the heaters but I like mountain house so I need the heated water.
