I'm not entirely certain...but I would think you could go small if you are an athletic cut.

I usually wear a L size but I bought a S size hopefully it'll fit me snugly as I don't want it to catch on branches and stuff

How can we tell if the size is European or US on Amazon it just says large.

Don’t own much Helikon besides some shorts the Helikon-Tex UTK shorts in adaptive green and I love them wish I did own more because it looks like fantastic gear literally everything I’ve seen looks great. I use Marmot jackets I have the Marmot men’s Zion jacket in dark grey 100% water proof with some liner material for a little warmth which I have to my brother so he could have a great jacket for our trips so I got the Marmot minimalist jacket in black not as warm as the Zion but again absolutely 100% rain proof amazing water shedding as does the Zion and for real cold snowy days I got another Marmot jacket with has 700 fill down and not a bubble version because they always rip this is made of tougher materials that won’t tear open in the woods comes with a detachable hoodie unbelievable warm even in mid winter it’s almost to warm unless u are out in the woods for a whole day or more I’ve had a few Marmot down jackets and this one is by far the warmest and toughest I’ve ever had it’s called the Fordham down jacket 700 fill in the Nori color at least that’s what they call it but it’s basically a mixture of dark and lighter browns looks great definitely a jacket is trust in a blizzard and the other two I mentioned I’d trust in any rain storm that Mother Nature can bring the commercial is a guy and his electronics in his minimalist jacket just standing under a good size waterfall for 30 seconds and no water got past the jacket undershirt dry along with his phone etc and the Zion is just as good but is a hair warmer with some sort of fleece on the inside love Marmot jackets not cheap but not priced insanely high either. My book is done hope u read it 😘.

I always read your books...haha! But yes, I do like marmot gear...I have some...a couple sweaters that I really like...mostly for the fall/office wear. If you're looking to try another piece of Helikon gear, this would be a great option. I suggest the multicam black if you're into it.
