The addition of vibrato in Vibrato channel in the Super adds another gain stage to the amp, which is why that channel can get dirtier. It shifts the EQ a bit, too. I think they nailed the models on this one. It’s better than most of the other Fender models to me. Reverb does the same thing, which is why a non reverb Princeton has way more clean headroom than a Princeton Reverb. Those Bogner models sound awesome, don’t they? Super cool.

I didn't know that about the gain stage...that's cool. And I agree. the more time I spend with the Super the more I like it. It has a top end that is really pleasant to my ears. Might be playing it more often :) Digging more into the Bogner today!

That Bogner amp sim is amazing. If you can get it a little clean and then put an ODR or Screamer in front of it, or if you're crazy, a rat or Big Muff, man, that'll be fun.

Hey, I love your videos. I would love to see Line 6 offer more for acoustic guitar players. I use my HX Stomp exclusively for acoustic guitar. I would love to see some acoustic guitar amp options as well as cabs and speakers modeled for acoustics.

I haven't explored Cab IRs much on the HX Stomp. I've been wondering if it can use DIRs - Dynamic IRs, as well as regular IRs, and if the DIRs make a big difference to the tone. Always good to get a Line 6 Helix Update, and demo. Thanks

I'm pretty sure dynamic IR's are just EQ'd differently. The way an IR is made is that it is a "snapshot" of a wave form at a specific moment in time. It's not dynamic even though I've heard this language. I think it's more marketing and that they sound really good. but nothing is "changing" in the IR itself.
