Helix Tutorial - Guitar Sound of Alter Bridge / Tremonti

If you ever needed to free up a block on Path 2 you can control the "Level" parameter of the Mixer block with snapshots instead of a dedicated Stereo Gain block. A Dual Cab block could also be used to consolidate the 2 cabs into 1 block if you moved the Mixer block to the beginning of Path 2. I found myself needing to increase the Headroom parameter of the Transistor Tape delay as well.

Awesome! Do you offer lessons on how to utilize the software? I have a Spark amp that I travel with for my job and having a software that I could run seems much easier. Any advice would be welcome or I wouldnt mind a lesson or two either

Thanks! The software only works in combination with the Line 6 Helix, so unfortunately you can't utilize it without the according hardware. The Helix is a quite expensive peace of gear but in my opinion it is absolutely worth it!

Interesting that you're using the Boogie Mark IV model instead of the equivalent Rectifier model. That amp (Mark IV) will have inherently tighter low end, depending on how it's dialed in. That said, if it sounds good (which it definitely does), it is good! Ears not eyes as they say in the Fractal forums.

I actually tried the Rectifier first, because that‘s the amp Mark Tremonti used most of the time, but for some reason I wasn‘t happy with the resulting sound in combination with the Archon, so I chose the Mark IV instead. Really hope you enjoy this setup on your Axe aswell!

I think the firmware is 3.11 but just because I was too lazy updating it... :D
