Wow! This video reminds me of Baxtertimewell's videos back in the early days (circa 2007). However, you have found new ways to climb the colossi that I had never seen before - great work my friend! I especially liked how you could stab the #9th colossus head before it even had a chance to stand upright! Some of the others I had seen speed runners do before. Why did you end the video on the #15th boss?

I found all these myself; if there were any I missed it's because I didn't discover them. Since making this video I've seen a lot of new ones by speedrunners but this video is just a little time capsule of when I was experimenting and finding my own tricks.

I didn't know any tricks for the 16th boss, I now know about the trick where you can run straight to them but that's not exactly a climbing trick. I'm sure there's other ones but to be honest number 16 is kind of annoying to get to the part where you're climbing them so I didn't experiment much with it.

The one with the club Quadratus (#2) on it's left side of the body Gaius (#3) shown in the video Phaedra (#4) as bentheechidna stated Barba (#6) shown in the video Argus (#15) on it's chest far left

I think most of them, yeah. There's gotta be reasons that there are so many ridges and fur in places where they don't need to be for the normal route. Some of the routes are DEFINITELY on purpose, seeing how they're necessary to beat the time trails (the horse's route is an example of one like this).

5:00 that is harder to do than the sword launch jump stunt on gaius.

It really isn't lol, the only reason I didn't include the sword launch jump in the video is because, in the PS4 version, I straight up can't do it. It requires 3 perfectly timed jumps to "dodge" the frames where the sword makes you stumble, and even once you do that, whether or not you land on the head is still luck. Said stumble frames don't happen in the PS2 version so there it's way easier.

On the second boss if you wait on one of its shoulder bones and if shakes its body (and you have some decent control) you can hop right into its back and skip climbing its side. You can do the same thing with the turtle.

Yeah, that's one of the coolest things about this game, everything that looks like a ledge can me used as one and often that entails all sorts of alternate methods for defeating them than the "intended" one.

I certainly wouldn't call myself having "godly" timing and precision. Before christmas vacation I was struggling in Guilty Gear Strive to meaty opponents on wakeup with faust's close slash which has 6 active frames which means I was missing my window by at least 1/10th of a second, and this is AFTER practicing. My sense of timing is TERRIBLE. Most of the things in this video are easier than they look.

Camad203 Honestly if you'e already seen a ton of the game it may not be worth it. Ultimately Shadow of the Collossus is a game of spectacle and if you've heard the music, seen the fights, and seen the landscape it's really going to lose that "wow" factor. That being said, you should still pick it up if you can find it for cheap enough or if you're a huge fan of melancholy broken up by epic set pieces.

One of the hardest and must logical thinking challenge in super mario odyssey. You must remember where you can find moons without a cap throw and determine if u must do a capture or a skip thinking which requires less throws. You must have incredible memory. HelixSnake ah sorry I meant the 3rd one. When he smashes his sword down you can run onto the tip and crouch. Jump at the right time and you can get launched straight to his head.

@@sectus68 I didn't include that one because the slight change in physics in the remake makes that one nigh impossible, I tried for hours and wasn't able to land it once. You have to do like 3 perfectly timed jumps to keep from stumbling. I've gotten the launch but never been able to land on his head. It was a lot easier in the original because you can just crouch and then jump at the right time.

@@sectus68 I think it is an unintentional consequence of the framerate being higher, as far as I know they made no changes to the physics code. A higher framerate means more physics iterations which means the physics will behave very slightly differently
