I saw Anthrax at a dive bar in Houston. I was six feet from Scott Ian. It was amazing. Also, the Deftones opened, but it was circa 1994, so nobody knew who they were.

Mike Patton manipulates his voice like an instrument, the same way a musician manipulates the sound of the instrument. He is truly something we should cherish in music history.

Greg puciato has a brilliant voice. But Michael patton, has a voice that only comes around once in a 100 years. He should be a national music treasure and so should Maynard. I wonder if they have taken insurance policies out on their voices. MJK has a amazing voice but he doesn't have the range MP has. They both can hold a scream like no other, but Mike's is a little longer. Mike can doe things w/ his voice only MJK could only dream of . And I don't think mjk is classically trained &or can sing opera . And the fact that Mike can speak 4 or 5 different languages even adds to his mystique. It Is nothing short of amazing," mothra."

Ironically, I got FNM's Angel Dust and it was one of the most innovative albums of the time. I really, really liked Chuck Mosley when he was with the band too. I never get tired of Anne's Song & We Care A lot. I worked at a Music Distributor when I was17 to 20 or so and we got lots of promos and things. I've never met anybody that had the wide range of genre and types of music as me. I consider myself an authority. First concert was the Master Of Puppets tour. We were kids too. Saw Jane's in 91' the one and only time. And then that thing in MSG Alice, Slayer, Megadeth, and Anthrax also in 91' I think. I missed Lush in 2016 which really passed me off.

Mr Bungle was a kind of an experimental band made up of guys from other bands. Their debut, and until recently, only album, wasn't metal at all it was avante garde and just bizarre. So to answer your question they just didn't release much or tour much. Patton was focusing on Faith No More which was receiving main stream attention, selling out large venues and paying the bills. In addition he was always involved in other side projects, so Bungle was sidelined for a couple decades until Patton, Ian and some of the other guys were like, hey let's put Bungle back together and cut another album, I got some ideas.

I know it's a cover, but it reminds of classic Mr Bungle days. The days of switching between intense and loud and then going to slow. The song feels almost like a final goodbye to that sound as the band comes to a close with a bang.

I know the intro beat to hell awaits is simple enough to play, but damn, no body alive will ever play it the way dave does, I'm a drummer of 32 years and I can play the slayer stuff, but there is something different about the way dave puts a swing into the fastest double bass sections, and it's impossible to narrow down what the difference is, but it's there.
