HELL BARBARIAN WORLD RECORD SPEEDRUN

This makes me wonder how in the hell I got to act II normal as an ~8 year old playing barbarian with all points into strength/dex to dual wield two handed weapons and all skills into silly things like find item/potion. I think I even skilled an attack skill and decided against using it because I liked normal attacks better. I must've farmed to like level 30 in blood moor or something hilarious to accompish that.

that is actually the normal way we played single player games back when the internet wasn't this thing. Then at some point we jumped to battlenet and get destroyed. Fought trough the bullying, got lucky with some people guiving crap they didn't needed away, got some advices, found some obscure guide online and voilá.

Sigh.. I played d1 when I was like 6 years old on an old ass Pc. Then d1 for PlayStation with a friend. Then d1 Hellfire expansion. Then the arrival of D2.... then Lod. It’s literally apart of my life growing up. I was a huge online player. Throughout the decades, I accumulated about $9000 worth of valuable gear before I let all 9 of my fully loaded accounts expire due to just... sadly growing up and family with kids. Boy time flies. Bought D3 recently but just can’t get into it. It just ain’t the same or maybe will never be simply because I lost my childhood magic. Sucks being an adult sometimes. I always think back about the fun times being lost inside these games. Ahh good times.

Back when I played the game was ridden with mods like TmC and AA. Items like Bugged Tal Rashas armor, ITH and Botd(breath of the dying) rune words weapons that were all glitched and crazy. Does any of this still exist and/or is the game balanced and legit again? I used to be #3 Ele druid PvP USeast, i miss those days. D2 is one the the best PvP games ever made IMO, D3 doesn't remotely compare.

"We're gonna have to figure out some Hell Ancients..." Dude, I never got past Hell Ancients with my Sorceress. I tried everything legitimately, couldn't do it. Then I tried paying real money for the full Tal Rasha Set plus buying other items for my Sorc, and paying real money to buy an Ethereal BOTD Great Poleaxe for my Defense Act II Merc (his damage was in thousands). I STILL couldn't do it. That is a testament to how difficult this game really is. It's the hardest RPG I've ever played.

+MrLlamaSC Have you tried the chipped emerald approach to newb gear? Find a 3-socket bow, and with 3 chipped emeralds that is +30 poison damage over 5 seconds. Lasts most of Act I (if not Andariel).

Hey Llamma. I tune in often to stream and also watch all ur vids. Can you give me tips as what to run with barb? Is it double swing the whole way? if not when do you switch and what to? runewords to look for?

really your barb options are: Double swing and/or frenzy Concentration Berserk Maybe whirlwind Sing barb They have their strengths and weaknesses, but you can make it through the game with any (I've done all but WW for running through the game) As for weapons? Something with Crushing blow is necessary for at least bosses (Strength/black runewords). Beyond that, cannot be frozen will be huge and may be something to consider (Rhyme runeword if can't find an armor or raven or something). It's a slower char, but still fun!

I would be interested in any level 80 speedrun in Hell (solo 1-player) difficulty, from start to finish. You start naked at rogue encampment, any class and skill tree build you like, but no money. Finish means act 5 worldstone scene and text showing you are victorious. Can you do it?The yt titles alone would be hilarious, like `naked barbarian in hell`or has it been done before?

Problematic for some of your play through, I guess you already know how much time it takes to find a EL rune from the beginning (2 to 3hrs) and the amount of time it takes to lvl from start (Just hitting boss packs or anything that was worth hitting at all.) I can tell you my time start is way longer and I didn't even hit your benchmark time at Andy. 1hr? wow My act 2 items took a few hrs to get a "3socket fail" was crazy. You must be one lucky guy to get them so quick. After that it didn't seem to bad till you get to lvl 21 - My drive to later levels didn't seem to match your benchmark time either. (So there I am at 8hrs at act4 and I need much more leveling before I kill Diablo.) Some Pointers for some Max your malice attack, and get leap attack. a few points in double swing at start. There are something he's not showing in build & FIRE is going to be your weakness in act 3. Nice video Barb sucks that is all
