He is just 3 shitposts in a trench coat.
@deanmayberry97132 жыл бұрын
Louis Cole is just Absurdist shitposting mostly with the music, but yeah. There's some Existential Philosophy embedded in this. If you're using your Jazz degree from USC to do this? Louis Cole and Sam Gendel are both heavily into Albert Camus and Postmodernism. They're both obviously very skilled musicians, but simultaneously? What does that actually matter in the grand scheme of it all? Neither of them appear to have inflated Egos on the matter despite their musical accolades. Just more cosmic cockroaches riding a rock and hurdling through the Universe like everyone else in the grand scheme of it all. I find comfort in that acknowledgement; other people find existential crises and cosmic horror in that acknowledgement.

kinda dissapointed nobody is pointing out the section at 0:55 , the amount of practice it mustve taken for both of them to nail the rhythm right even with it being so random is insane. these guys are actually killer musicians.
@anwiseru90644 жыл бұрын
is it random? sort of sounds like tap code but i wouldnt know

Just discovered these guys...wondering if its louis cole (dr) and sam gendel (sax)
@quietreason96674 жыл бұрын
You should see what else they do......Cole, Gendel and company. It's beautiful
@deangreen13094 жыл бұрын
It's not random, it can easily be written out and practiced, or sight read on the spot as long as you understand timing. The polyrhythm the drummer is playing and the technical sax solo are way more impressive
@grantdillon34203 жыл бұрын
@@Jamie-vd9mi indeed it is

The fact that ClownCore is only now being recommended to everyone is either foreshadowing that 2020 isn't finished with us yet and we're in store for more clown mask shit OR someone broke the Algorithm.
@evilthecat134 жыл бұрын
No, it's just a logical suggestion to Louis Cole viewers. Not really big brain stuff.
